Hi Khalyson, thanks for stopping by. The plugin did not leave any setting open to change the footer credit, however, that can be modified in the plugin code. In WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins/plugin file editor. Then select the plugin - wpschoolpress, then navigate to wpsp-layout.php, you will find the footer credit on line 1155. You can completely delete the entire copyright and version or modify it by replacing the wpschoolpress text with your site name and the URL too.

Hello, if I want to add attendance of student from a backdate how could I do this? It seems like you can only add attendance from when you create the class only?

Did I miss something? You started this video well, but I'm still confused as to why you didn't mention how students, parents, and even staff will be able to interact with the front end of the school management features. Are students and parents supposed to see the website's back end? How does a student/parent log in to his/her dashboard? How do students see information like the Time table, bus, etc? What is even the function of this school management website? or did I miss this aspect of the tutorial?

Yes, you missed out. I should take the pain to create a video yet still have to explain everything I did in the tutorial to you. When creating account, whether teacher, student, parent, etc, you have the option to create a login details. I also mentioned creating a login page, when the school management users login, they don't have access to the wordpress dashboard but the school management features where they see every of the details you asked.

@@JustDaps the only login explanation yu made was logging in to the school mgt dashboard, I don't think you showed anywhere where we see how students' login from the front end looks like and how to do so(pls refer me to the timeline if you did. thanks). i was also thinking that the plugin should have short codes that can be used to achieve these login pages but cant seem to locate it.

Yes, and that settles any other needed login. Once you have a front-end login form like I showed and I also have lots of other front-end login tutorials on my channel, anyone who uses the form will be redirected to their dashboard, whether a student or teacher or even parent. There are no need for shortcodes. The plugin used to use shortcodes for individual pages, now its central. The plugin takes care of what to show to people based on their account type. Experiment with it yourself. I believe this should address your concern.

how do i create a different login for each teacher of the school on the homepage with this school template?

You do not need to create a different login for each teacher or student. Once you create an account for them and have a login, if they use that account details to login, it'll take them to their customized dashboard and not a general dashboard.

after installing the login press, when a teacher logins he’s able to see all teachers, students and all subjects just like me the admin.. why?? i want him to see his subjects and students and not all teachers details

Nothing is wrong, just like the warning says, there's an existing user with the name, check the WordPress user section to confirm this.

Student and teachers don't get the same dashboard. Every user gets a dashboard based on their role. What a student sees is different from what a teacher sees in their dashboard.

i love this and i have subscribed .one thing though, what if i want to be able to amake changes dynamically not necessarily using WP dashboard, a logged in teacher can create student on the website itself, as well as pricipal changes and updates timetable...please give me something to read and research about.. For you to customize the plugin further, the manufacturer has more add-ons and they also entertain a customization request at wpschoolpress.com. If you want to customize the plugin further beyond what has been provided in your WP dashboard, you'll need the help of a developer. In instances like these, I'll always recommend you use the developer of the plugin itself.
