When I heard you go "and the price" I almost started crying internally and then you said, "completely free". Thank you so much for this pack I have a hard time making transitions in fusion and this will really help. I would donate if I could but I don't have the money to so I hope thanks will do, you have earned yourself a new subscriber :)
I'm from Brazil and I want to thank you for your help with Davinci Resolve. I am not an editing professional, I travel with my wife and bought a camera and I am learning how to edit my videos. I have difficulty with Davinci Resolve tools. You helped me and I want to thank you. Thank you very much.
I've been trying to download transtions from other RU-vidrs and I must say this has been the easiest by far keep up the good work! Look forward to watching more of your stuff and learning from you.
Alex, I have subscribed for a while now. Without people like you I would have given up a long time ago. Your videos are relevant and easy to follow. Keep up the good work - thank you.
You're so awesome for this. People are charging all over the place for stuff for this. You know what, i think i'll just donate just because you put time into it!! That's what happens when people are kind dammit!
All the best Alex, your content is fantastic. Definitely the best channel I have found for DaVinici resolve. You just make it so easy to understand. Thanks so much. :-)
Having the same issue, when I first imported these into a Power Bin, it worked great. But once I closed DaVinci Resolve and re-opened, I cannot drag these over above 2 clips that are next to each other anymore that are on a track. Any help with this? I get a circle with a cross through it and a lightning icon next to the name of the transition when I try to drag it over.
I made a post on Alex's forum for those who need to see with a video of what's happening: www.mralextech.com/forum/resources/issue-with-free-seamless-transitions
You have to put a transition between two media clips. So if you’re using just one clip you have to split it and make sure that the red cursor, if you will, is right in between those two clips that you just split. Once you’ve done that, you can drag the transition and place right in the middle of the two clips.
Thanks for being generous enough to offer these transitions and sounds free of charge. Much needed for a new DRS16 user. I threw some power your way via PP. Thanks again and Happy New Year!
Hey! These look great, but for some reason when I open them in DaVinci I am getting "Media Offline" on all of them and they are named "Adjustment Layer", any chance you know how to fix that? :/
Its probably because your project is in 60 fps and these transitions are set for 30fps and less. He posted a 60 fps pack down in the comments if you scroll down just a bit on "soldmike" comment. youll find it there.
I downloaded everything but when I try to click on the folders in davinci resolve it shows me media offline.. ive tried to relink everything in the bin but it doesn't show anything after I click that option. please help
i just imported and tried with both 24 fps and 60 fps, but my clips all just named adjusment clip and they do nothing to my video, someone else got this problem?
Cheers dude! Appreciate it. Also, love me a good Mx5/Eunos 👍 great stuff! I used to have a 1.6 Eunos, got rid of that one, got another 1.8 sitting dorment in the garage and running a fatty (mk3) as my daily.
Ah cool man! I've had a few MX5s now, and every time I sell one I find myself picking up another one a few months later! Your videos have been super helpful with me getting my content out there! Thanks!
MrAlexTech These transitions will not work for the life of me. And I’m using smart and user render cache and nothing! Thanks for uploading for free by the way.
Thanks for the resources! I like that they are short, so not too distracting from the rest of the film. I also love the fact that they can go in a power bin.
You are amazing. I’ve really been enjoying the content. Not only are you one of the few people who work with davinci but you’re really good at teaching it. Thanks so much!
When I try to add the folder to a power bin it says "Resolve is unable to place multicam, compound clips, fusion clips and Timelines into power bins" Is there a way to fix this?
After importing into Davinci Resolve the transitions just say "Adjustment Clip" and I cannot use them. Do you have any suggestions or work arounds for this?
Bro, I'll say it again, you're awesome. I juggle between Premiere and Davinci, but I just love Davinci for so many reasons. There's not a single project I work on that doesn't inevitably lead me to your channel. I truly appreciate your effortless and brilliant content. I've said this before when you've saved me before--but thank you x1000! Keep up the great content.
Alex just have a quick question when I try applying them to a 60 fps project it just shows up as a line and does not do anything am I missing a step added both the 24 fps and the 60 fps version to the power bins and attempted to move them over from there any help would be appreciated
if it don't work follow it : when you "import project", clic right on it and turn on "Dynamic Project Switching" (look at 2:24, you can see the "dynamic project switching") it's important. And after, it works ! Sorry for my bad english, hope to help you
Question ... if I shot in 60 frames ( I do real estate videos) it seems the videos come out better and I need these transitions in 60 frame rate can I change it or does it need to be created that way?
Hey dude. They just need to be retimed essentially. They'll totally work on 60fps but they'll be really fast. I'll do a 60fps pack as well, shouldn't take too long to do 👍
Thank you Professor Alex. I’m getting my studio edition of V17 set up. Not only are these great looking transitions, but they can also serve as templates for experimentation and a great learning tool for the creation of more Alex inspired mixed effects. Love your videos.
Thank you so much, I have been looking for such a thing for some time. But it does not work! I follow step by step what needs to be done but when I move in the timeline nothing happens. Any solution? (Davinci version 16.1.2.026)
I had exactly this issue. After messing about for ages I realised I had "Colour Grade & Fusion Effects" turned off on my preview screen. It's the little multi-colour circle at the top right of the preview screen next to the time. Turned it back on and transitions all working! Hope this sorts things out for you too.
Hey, first of all, great video and thank you for the transitions! It's not a big deal, but all the clips are named "adjustment clip" on my power bin. How can I make them have the correct names, like you have? Thanks!
Thanks, man! This is awesome! I've only been subscribed to your channel for a week and I'm already getting presents LOL I will download them and try them out this weekend. Thanks again, man!
@@MrAlexTech Hahaha, I will wait for another week LOL. Thanks again, bro! I like your channel because I'm new with DaVinci and your videos are so well explained. Keep making them my friend. Greetings from Belgium
I'm struggling although I'm following your steps... When I open the Transitions folder and open Film Roll/Whip/Spin/Zoom, I see all transitions but they are named "Adjustment Clip" and it says "Media Offline" in the preview window. Would love help on this! Also, would love to donate/support you if I'm able to actually get this working! :)
Thanks so much! I’m just starting to use Resolve and this will be a big boost toward getting started so I don’t have to figure out how to make them myself (yet). Looking forward to more tutorials!
Hey Alex, just wanted to say thank you for this. I uploaded my first vlog today and used your transitions pack to help build the intro. I’ve had some amazing feedback already from some experienced RU-vidrs and it’s really motivated me to to keep going. Davinci is a steep learning curve for newbies like me but your videos are really helpful 👍
Thanks Alex! I am from India. Hoping to start my RU-vid channel related to Travel and food soon in 2020. Learning resolve from your tutorials which are short, quick to learn and very useful for beginners. Keep up the good work! Kudos!
Thanks man! I upgraded to Resolve 16 so I could use these. Thank you for including 60FPS versions too! I will definitely be using these at some point in the future (I don't get much time for working on my RU-vid projects)
Thank you so much Mr Alex - love these - just learning Resolve (and my computer is a bit old for it - but at least I can learn with it - new computer is at top of list :)
Thank you very much for this simple and effective transition pack, finally integrated as an effect layer under DaVinci Resolve 16 !!! You save my life, this is really what was missing in DaVinci Resolve to allow advanced transitions simple to apply to a montage. 1 like and +1 subscriber.
