Free Signature Logo for Photographers 

I have watched almost seven or more youtube clips to learn how to create a signature in photoshop. None of them helped me to create a signature that I could add to my photos. Your clip was the BEST of them!!! Thank you very much for providing this information!!

Just imagine if ALL tutorials on here were this great!! So many people lack the ability to communicate succinctly on here and it just becomes pretentious waffle, the amount of videos Ive tried to learn and the guys haven't even scripted or thought out the aim or outcome,First class stuff can't wait to see more, definitely getting along to some classes, cheers!

Thank you Marc works great. Most helpful. I created the text in black and then created the png in a couple of different ways. I then created a brush for each. Now I just have to add a new blank layer, pick a color to suit the image.

Good tutorial. It's also possible, in Photoshop, to create a custom brush, and "stamp" it on a new layer on top of your photo. That way you can make it any color you want, resize it, and move it all around too.

Honestly, I have seen numbers of videos on this topic but every time found something missing, something was not clear - something was not quite there... But this video was the answer... Easy to follow and do. In my photoshop save as doesn't have a png so a bit of scratching the head thinking export it, and gives a options to save as a png. Job done. P.s hate lightroom and always use photoshop. Thanks again David

quick note, on the latest version of Photoshop they have moved a lot of the "save as" options to "save a copy".

Excellent tutorial, good sir! Thanks for taking the time to make these and help us newbies learn some of the basics! One question though: I've created my watermark in PS per your instructions and saved it to a common location on my hard drive, yet when I attempt to use it as a graphic in Lightroom, it's as if Lightroom doesn't see or recognize the PNG. Any suggestions?

Hi Marc ... I've been following your clip on RU-vid on how to make a .PNG Signature file. However at the "Save" stage, I clicked on Photoshop (*.PSD,*PDD,*.PSDT) however the drop down menu in the Current Version of Photoshop does not give me the .PNG option. I have the Photoshop (*.PSD,*PDD,*PSDT), Large Document Format (*.PSB), Photoshop PDF (*PDF,*PDP), and the TIFF (*TIF,*TIFF) ONLY .... WHICH ONE DO I CHOOSE? Thanks Gordon

Nice tutorial, Mark. That said, if you want to be genuine, wouldn't it be more appropriate to sample an actual handwritten signature, digitize it and then use the resultant digital file as the foundation of your signature graphic? Can you make a tutorial that illustrates this sort of approach? Thanks.
