A tarp, some poles and cordage… the possibilities are endless. Another fantastic setup. A bit more wildlife up this end of the state. I’ve actually seen more in my yard than I have exploring in the woods. In the woods I’ve walked up on a deer sleeping and a bear sleeping… the deer scared the crap out of me because it jumped up and ran off. The bear just stood up, looked at me for a minute and slowly lowered to all fours and walked away. Twice I walked into a pack of coyotes, the second time didn’t go as smoothly as the first encounter. I’ll still take the woods and the four legged animals over the city and the two legged animals any day and twice on Tuesday. 😅

Right? I'm seeing soooo many possibilities and plan on showcasing more setups with my gear. It's amazing how often we see wildlife in the woods compared to the city. They're migrating to the city because land development is pushing them out. Thankfully I've never been in a precarious situation with wildlife 🙏 ... Totally agree! Two legged are more likely to harm than four legged. Always appreciated Brother Tim ... Have a fantastic weekend 🤠🌲☕

Another cool setup Gil. I’d rather deal with the prospects of an animal encounter rather than dealing with people 😂. The comfort level increases the more you do overnights in the woods. Great topic Brother!

Hey Brother Doug ☺️ thank youuuu! I'm having fun trying new setups and ideas with shelters. Right? Animals are less likely to engage opposed to people. I've met some interesting characters along the way, I'll say that lol ... Thanks for the encouragement, I can't wait to try an overnight soon and become more comfortable with it as well. Nice pitching. You are becoming quite skilled at your tarp set-ups. Freestanding takes a lot of practice, but you look as if you're dialed in. Beautiful area that you're at! 👊
