Quitting was the best decision I've ever made with the game. It's so liberating and you realize, after 2-3 weeks, that the game is incredibly bad both in gameplay and looks. Good luck in your choice regardless. Have fun.

Ahnald, the Malak glitch, from what I remember, was a bug created by CG, so banning people for CG's internal mistake wouldn't have been appropriate. This is more in line with the time where people could buy 3rd party crystals. I don't remember if people were banned for that, but it's a lot closer to what happened today than the Malak error.

People were definitely banned for that. I went to bat for my guildmate/officer who was adamant he hadn't ever cheated and the ban was a mistake. Turns out the third party crystal thing is what he did.

If it was a Robin Hood, he'd be doing it for free. He's trying to profit from it, which just makes him a thief. I'm not feeling much sympathy for EA or CG, given their history, and I definitely don't feel any of the person who did this, since they're likely to profit from this and knew what they were doing was illegal. I feel sorry for the players who didn't participate in this fraudulent activity, and will likely end up getting screwed over by CG/EA as they try to recoup any lost profits.

@@mauriceroyer5616 Well, it's kinda both. 15k to every player is definitely Robin Hood stuff. And $10 for 15k is not much to risk your job and potentially career if EA makes sure he never works again. So yeah, while he charged money, I doubt he can go off and retire now on a private island.

I actually left my old guild because of a hacker they had about 260k but would solo the raids and get 28mil damage so I left it was not fair to get rewards lower because someone was hacking to get tons of damage and they only had some purple gear teams some good teams but nowhere near that good

This cheating thing has been a problem for years.... for simple things like ignoring things like HotBot to down right cheating and CG just ignores it... I spent big money in this game but due to CG's silence on any type of cheating I quit spending. I have not spent a dime on this game since January and to see a video like this warms my heart and reassures me that I did the right thing... Thank you CG for ignoring my pleas to stop the cheaters... you have saved me thousands of dollars!

Thank you for explaining! Discord and chat was going wild and I couldn’t get answer. I don’t think CG should be banning people for this! They need to warn people at least. It’s CG’s fault for allowing this to happen, not the players. It’s ridiculous, and we should be compensated either way.

In this situation, people are using a 3rd party to purchase in-game items (whether it's characters, gear, crystals, whatever), in a manner that is unlikely to be sanctioned by EA, and is therefore a violation of the terms of service. The TOS indicates that they are allowed to ban people without warning, and quite frankly, people who did this and do get banned shouldn't be surprised or require a warning. CG tends to treat their customers like garbage, but this isn't the right way to respond.

We take these Reports seriously and will be doing a Full Investigation into the matter and any accounts found to have received Items from said Individual will be Permanently banned " type of Situation for what little integrity the game/CG have left

I was just looking through the clash Royale game shop, and saw a banner for sale that had value visual only. Then realised the games that actually have value and are worth your time are games that have in game purchases that are purely a visual thing. This is branding value. I saw a video of someone showing how to get unlimited free crystals which sounds good and it looked legit but i thought how can you do that without hacking into the CG servers? I hate that everything is so expensive but i guess thats why so many people try hacking and stuff cause its ridiculous the prices you have to pay if you want specific stuff in this game. Ive only spent some money here and there and it never really helped much in hindsight.
