The most important thing in this is that we should, with all our hearts, have yaqeen that this life(test) is fair for each and every soul because its against Allahs atributes to make it anything but fair.

Verse 28 of Surah Al-An'am was mentioned in the beginning. If only you could see when they will be detained before the Fire! They will cry, “Oh! If only we could be sent back, we would never deny the signs of our Lord and we would ˹surely˺ be of the believers.” But no! ˹They only say this˺ because the truth they used to hide will become all too clear to them. Even if they were to be sent back, they would certainly revert to what they were forbidden. Indeed they are liars! [Quran 6:28]
@Adrian-yf1zg
@Adrian-yf1zg 2 года назад
So is human will independant or from Gods will? Can humans decide something so that we are responsible for the act and lying about wanting to go back change our original decisions? Me, personally.... I like to just think about the delayed choice quantum erase experiment.... Which seems to show "retro causality"... Which make all of this stuff about being responsible for our actions more palletable ..... It's like we have already done our actions and outcome is known .... And hence we get what we deserve in this world sometimes and definitely in the next

But they opened up a thousand more with their philosophical ramblings.... None 9f what they said gave contentment to the heart, rather it fueled further doubts. Ramadan al bouty Explained it thoroughly. The body which is earthly, falls into what they say determinism. But the soul is something mysterious no one knows except Allah. So when soul and body joins together they form nafs which makes decisions with the help of mind. So there is particular element(ruh) of whole argument is something which we dont have enough data, which leads to all sorts of conclusions and still we will fall into confusion. Indeed, there is transcendent element in human which unexplained. Best way is to say Allah knows best and he wrongs no one. All people earn for their nafs.

As Ust.Hamza said, putting aside the philosophical discussions regarding this topic, why is it that we’ve assumed in the first place that Allah swt kept this a mystery to us which can be solved through philosophical thinking To me that shows the arrogance of the human being, wanting to know how everything works, and in this case how Allah swt “operates” Whereas the wisdom of keeping this a mystery was beautifully outlined by Ust.Hamza, and that is probably the most empowering words you can tell a human being on this earth In cases like these, the spiritual aspect of Islam really do supersede any intellectual discussion surrounding this topic! Predestination and Free Will are at odds with each other, you're not really free if you're falling into a plan that's set out for you. One thing to keep in mind, is that the future doesn't exist in a linear sense. You can't fast ward to see what you're going to do. Your actions aren't made until you choose them. A lot of paradoxes involved in this. Consciousness makes this more complicated.
@khaninmedvedeva8157
@khaninmedvedeva8157 2 года назад
There is no plan that's set out for you. You have the freedom to choose and Allah has the knowledge of your future choices. Your Qadr is not a plan that is set out for you outside your will. Your Qadr is all the choices you will make based on your free will. It's not really that complicated: if Allah knows everything, and he writes it down in form of Qadr, that simply means that He knows what you will do before you do it. It's not that He made the choices for you. You did, you always have.
@wafashaath9599
@wafashaath9599 2 года назад
The difference between free will and predestination is you have a choice in free will. You make a certain choice it translates to certain outcome that Allah already knew. Predestination is when you have no choice, it's been determined. The rain falling is predestined, (kada). Your choice not eat today for example is free will (kadar). You can't blame Allah's infinite knowledge for the choice you made. He Knows, but you chose! Allah Alam!

How can free will and determinism occur at the same time or exist simultaneously? 1. We can analyze this scientifically and come to the realization that some things are entirely deterministic according to the laws of physics and these usually deal with things on the macroscopic scale whereas on the quantum scale according to physics everything is highly probablistic and this of course is in the microscopic scale or the subatomic realm. 2. Analyzing it from micro Quantum particles such as quarks and bosons appear to abide by no known deterministic laws instead they seemed to engage in behavior that is highly probablistic and appears to be independent 3. Where on the macroscopic scale the known forces of physics such as gravity and electro magnetism a nd the weak and strong nuclear forces abide by deterministic a well known set of laws that do not falter and are absolute Therefore the physics and the laws of the universe as we can percieve on the macro scale are dependent upon physics and abide by them. 4. To explain in terms of Islam free will is highly probabilistic and exist on the human or quantum scale as compared to the heavenly scale which is everything is deterministic the human miracle itself is the composition of both realms Ard and Samawati or earth and heaven the the ability and the meeting point between the quantum realm and the macro where they meet inside the soul of the human 5. Further scientific evidence of this can be seen clearly through the phenomenon of waveform or wave function collapse which is highly indicative of the quantum nature of consciousness 6. Only Allah s.w.t is neccessary or independent or absolute everything else in creation all creatures including humans are contingent upon Allah s.w.t., dependent and relative to Allah s.w.t. we are always the means and Allah hu Haqq is the ends or final destination upon him we rely and to him we shall return 7. Firas zahabi explained determinism vs free will perfectly on the JRE podcast when he gave the analogy of the two parallel moving trains to each other. i believe that the best analogy for this topic is the video games cuz in a video game you have maybe 1 or 2 or more endings based on the choices you make in the game so it gives you the feeling that you have a choice to be made to choose the right ending but the fact remains that your choices in the game can't lead you to a different ending other than the endings that were preprogrammed in the game before you even bought it so in that case your "choices" are just an illusionary tool gave to make you play the game and choose one of the endings that was already predestined in the game. so do in life your "illusion of choice" is given to you just to choose one of the predestined endings which are heaven or hell but because you have no control over the circumstances that determine your choices you can't choose a different outcome other than these 2 so free will as an absolute concept doesn't exist you can only say the illusion of freewill but not freewill

This is the best explenation I got somewhere: We do have free will. We do have the freedom to choose. Allahs knowledge about our future choices does not take away out freedom to choose. It simply means that Allah is all knowing as He should be, otherwise the concept of God would fall apart (if He did not know everything). So Allah does not make the choice for you. He simply KNOWS about your choices which is Qadr. So it's not like you make choices based on what is written in your qadr, no. You make choices out of free will, Allah already knows what you are going to do because of his knowledge and puts it in your Qadr BEFORE you even made the choice. So it has always been you, no one made the choices for you. You did.
@loftilhan4868

The problem with this analogy is that your choices are still pre-destined because Allah s.w.t already knows them so they are not really free-will in that sense. But I get what you’re trying to say though. We just have to accept that our human mind isn’t capable enough of comprehending it.

brother hijab doesn't understand that when we say the " illusion of free will" doesn't mean that freewill doesn't exist but we mean that freewill as an absolute concept for humans doesn't exist. only God can have perfect and absolute free will. if your free will was 100% true /perfect then it means you can oppose god's will which is impossible also your sense of freewill doesn't exist in the material word its only in your inner consciousness which is an illusion because it doesn't exist in the physical realm . you can only argue from a logical standpoint about the existence of freewill but you can't possibly argue about determinism cuz its a given while freewill is not

Further, free will in itself is not amazingly good rather bad as without it we would be angels and with it we face the waswasa of Shaitaan ... To be on a safer side we submit our free will to Allah ... Sukhar Allah that makes us a Muslim .. SubhaanAllah The question is what if we had the free will without the waswasa of shaitaan?

Simple. Human has free will, which is, a knowledge of a person for wanting to execute an action A or action B. Qadha and Qadr simply means that, Allah will conduct/execute what Allah wanted since azaliyyah. The principle are: 1) Allah creates a ilm (knowledge) in a person which implies the desire of doing this and that, along with the consequences of that particular of doing so. 2) Then Allah creates an irodah to that person (preference/wanting) to do that action. 3) Then Allah moves the person according to what you knew and desired to do (or as Allah creates your knowledge and your irodah upon it). So the free will is lied upon the knowledge that youre able to want and do this and not that. Remember, Allah creates you and what you're do. and Everything is the will of Allah, what Allah dont want, will not happen. So human, is majbur haqiqotan if we looks into that Allah creates all, and mukhtar zohiron, if we factor out Allah from that equation.

Guest List B: This is an open list, but a set of tasks (or deeds) must be accomplished by individuals to earn a spot on it. As the event’s commencement approaches, a revealing moment unfolds. Astonishingly, every individual on the confidential Guest List A has also completed the necessary tasks to appear on Guest List B. God asked us to "believe his words" and this is where the exam is! He's telling us that he is doing no one injustice, so if someone thought that God knowing your choice is the same as God choosing for you then that person is deceiving himself because he didn't take Allah's words for giving human beings free will. We must know that He SWT knows what we can't and won't ever know, so how can we "know" what is in the basis of "His knowledge" which we were not given access to in the first place. There is an answer to this. We shouldn't have to be forced into saying only Allah knows the answer. Yes we have epistemic limitations, but this is fairly conceivable and rational and it is important not to over complicate this. We have free will to choose our actions and everything we do is our preference, however Allah is al alim and he knew before hand what we would choose to do therefore he wrote it on the preserved tablet. So what we do is our choice, it's just that Allah knew what we would choose to do and wrote that down before we were created. Also the wadr aspect as that we get presented with a range of oppurtunities and the free will aspect is we get to choose from that range of possibilities. It's important to know Allah is al-Adl the just, and everything is fair. I don't know if I am correct, nor whether I am answering the right question. However, this is the way I try to reconcile between the free will of human being and the absolute Will of Allah: 1- Allah SWT has the ultimate Will and Power. Only what He wills materializes in the world. 2- Allah SWT has given us free will. Therefore, our dependent free will, in fact, follows from that of Allah which is ultimately independent. 3- Freewill has to do with intention. As a person, I freely intend to do something because Allah SWT allowed me to have this freedom. 4- From our human point of view, for an action to materialize in the real world, two conditons must be met: a) a will to perform and b) a capacity to execute. If any of these two conditions is not met, then the action will not materialize. 5- Allah SWT has the ultimate decision, and any action will materialize in the actual world only when Allah SWT wills to be. However, any action that is not accomplished is due to the fact that we either don't have the will or the capacity to accomplish. 6- We, as humans, are judged by our intentions. This is because our intentions are where our freedom lies. If we do a bad action, it occurred because A) Allah SWT allowed to happen, and B) we have the will (our will that will be judged) to do this bad action as well as the physical capacity to carry it away. An example: Missing a prayer: one can miss an obligatory prayer either due to a lack of will (intention to not do the prayer) or incapacity to perform it. The person is guilty only when he/she has the intention not to establish prayer. The prophet SAW says "whoever forgets or sleeps till the prayer's time elapses, he shall prayer when he remembers." This person missed the prayer but because he did not have the intention to miss it, he is not guilty. In general, our free will depends on the Ultimate Will of Allah SWT. We are judged by our will that was given to us by Allah. We are not judged by what actions are accomplished, because some actions may be accomplished without will (force for example) or we may miss actions for which we have intention to do. If I have any mistakes in my understanding, then I accept my limitations. In all cases, I accept that Allah SWT is the Ultimate Just, and the Ultimate Sadiq. By Him telling us that we have a free will, it must be true that we have it, and it is just that we are judged by that free will which Allah has given us, although we may not understand how it works with the Ultimate Will of Allah.

In a sense we have free will that is outside of this obversable physical universe but within the pre-coded 'game'world of God where there is a mix of intelligeble universe and a universe beyond our imagination. That is the best comprehensible thing I can say.

🇵🇸Save Iyad Haribat. 🇵🇸Save Bassam Jaber 🇵🇸Save Israa These names desperately need all our attention. Please everyone, look them up, sign the petition that advocates their freedom from the evil administrative detention done by IOF. And spread the word. Iyad especially is in an extremely critical condition for being moved out of a hospital. If you don't know these names, please do look them up, the things being done to him CANNOT be justified nor remain unheard.

Thank you so much. The kadhaa and kadr and free-will it's a matter of belief that has no thing to do with our life science, however this belief in kadaa and kadar comes after establishing an origin belief which is believeing in Allah and in what Mohammad's message brought. Example: If I give you a showing proof that i can carry up 500kg, this fact makes you believe in my power. Now, what if someone told you that I could carry an elephant. Here surely you will believe in me basing on the origin belief with no need to a another proof (this's called rational proof). Results: The showing proof is the Quran which establishes the origin belief. when the origin belief is built, that leads to accept the second belief that has no need to any proofs. What the purpose of all that?. This's the sound belief that feeds our worshiping to Allah as like as we see him (IHSAN level) with trust, and that what makes the difference between the children of Adam who never seen or talked to Allah and the Angels who has already seen and talked to Allah. For that reason the Angels have been commanded to bow to Adam, and for that purpose exactly the satan has taken us his enemy and we commanded as well in surat Alkahf to take him as our enemy). Final fruit: The real worshippers of Allah from the children of Adam are better than the Angels. Allah said to the Angels in the Quran in surat Albakara " I know what don't know" this's when the Angels didn't realize the wisdom of making Adam and his children as khaleefa in the earth as a test for them where Allah gave them the free will to do what they want (obeying Allah or Obeying the Satan). However the Angels they're ordered to obey to Allah with no free will. Conclusion: Without understanding the whole story of our creation and our purpose in this life we cannot absolutely realize the wisdom of believing in kadha an kadar.

Just because it is an islamic doctrine that you cannot understand the subject most of you go: "Oh yeah we are only humans and cannot understand it. So we do not think about it too much and just accept, what is revealed to us, how stupid it might ever be." You could also think about it and clearly consider this an impossible and unreflected claim. There is either free will or predestination, period. Me as a christian I found out as well, so, Muslims, you can do it also.

Bismillahi Tawwakkultu Allahlahi La hawla wa quwwata illah billah al Ali al Azim.
