Hi everyone! Recently, I wanted to draw something more complicated and this is a lineless, symbolic piece featuring the two protagonists of my original story. The two of them are facing their struggles in their daily life, and a huge part of the conflict in the story is that they all had their freedom taken away from them, but in two different forms.
Nivia (the white unicorn) symbolizes the feeling when you're the one limiting yourself from enjoying your life to the fullest. She's the one who put these chains on herself and she has the key to unlock them, but doesn't use it, because she thinks these chains are good for her (She's a princess and doesn't let herself enjoy non-elegant parts of life, because she feels like she has to be "perfect"). The key (also symbolizing the crown in the book) can also open the cage Charise (the brown unicorn) is in.
-Charise symbolizes the physical lack of freedom, as, in my book, she is forced to be a part of a criminal organization. Yet, Charise got used to her life a bit after trying so hard to escape (hence the damaged cage). Her emotions turned into beautiful flowers full of life and she learned how to enjoy every moment. But even in this condition, she is still willing to help others with their problems... for example Nivia.
