This booster is an implant from a lore perspective. Since water dragons were really advanced in bioengineering, and Merga also has it(why wouldn't she, she literally a one man army in the lore)I think that it should be like a post game or pre secret final boss upgrade, that Merga implanted in Lilac. And it looks cool, but there is too much of this scream tbh. And it's so loud. So other all, I love this series, love this mode, this thing is canon for me, you can't convince me otherwise.
Maybe in FP3 Lilac & Friends need a power boost to beat either the final boss or a secret final boss and Merga gives each one a "super ability" and this is Lilac's
She should've been able to do this when she gets the item that gives Carol her motocycle and Milla more cubes, I think it's really worthless that Lilac only shoots those "purple sonic booms" like in the first game but she doesn't have the rocket dragon boost
seeing this in action makes me realize how much more of a counterpart Merga is to Lilac in the story. The Merga fight mostly has her in flight with her “wings”. Lilac having her own set of wings is a cool idea, though. It might’ve been fitting as a power up like Super Sonic.
The super ability was shown in Sash Lilac's FP2 trailer,but was never implemented in the final release In my opinion,I think the only way she can get this ability is to either pay for everything in the museum or finishing all of the Battlesphere challenges in either S or Rainbow S ranks And since the ability was associated with small kingdom stones,this move could probably be used to do a double Dragon boost (which would we very OP in the Captain Kalaw race). The skill does much more damage than an ordinary Dragon boost does,and it can create much bigger explosions that can last longer too. And it makes sense too, considering Merga has like 5 of these wings in her inventory While I like this ability,they should've just made it blue which resembles her as a Water dragon
It makes sense on why they cut it though as it is pretty OP. Trust me when I say that once I modded this back into the game I'm never turning it off again unless it's officially reimplemented back in. I think this would be great as a 100% completion award to use in levels and use it to just snap the game in half, or at the very least make it a boss exclusive ability to use when going against Merga and the true final boss of the game.
Knowing GalaxyTrail's writing, could imagine museum reward text like "After the collapse of Bakunawa, we salvaged body armor similar to Merga's." "You're welcome to it. Be warned it is prone to excessive screaming."
Even thought I've alresdy Sed all the levels of the game, I think I will take this mod. I just love Lilac's winged design, and I was sad it was cut. Thanks to the modders for reviving it.
Even if it got in, that would be a nice addition to those who have completed all the levels with a Rainbow S ngl. 'Kinda like the cheats system in old games, where 100% (or completing) the game just gave you the "fuck around and enjoy" ticket.
Only if they put a cool down on her screaming. Once it's cool, the second time it's repetitive, the third is AAAAAAAAAAAA! Maybe like a 3 minute cool down where after she screams she can't for 3 minutes.
That's a super cool ability. This wasn't a secret power that you unlock later on? A shame, sure it's overpowered as well but it should be a reward for doing all of Lilac's stuff and be a 100% or something close to reward. I have Freedom Planet 2 on PC maybe I can added it in myself after I finish play it and beat it. This ability looks so much fun to use. PS: By the way, what engine was Freedom Planet made with? I recall Multimedia Fusion 2 was the first one and that got ported everywhere so was FP2 also made in Clickteam's Multimedia Fusion 2 engine?

Wolf love to use Unity to make games. Though I hear 2D is a little challenging on Unity. Still thanks for the reply. Is modding on games made with Godot, GDevelop, and Game Maker Studio 2 possible or almost as easy?
It technically is official as the ability itself is in the game just disabled. They even reference this in the museum if you rebuild all of the bosses in there.
Probably she will have this in freedom planet 3 these are the same wings merga has after all, both are water dragons, so they are probably reserving this for the third game

Thank you! Do you know if there's a way to put a cooldown on the shouting, similar to how Lilac won't say "Cyclone!" everytime she double jumps?
@@UltimateAnimeGamer Yea there is a way to limit it, and might add it soon as it is, in fact, very obnoxious and loud. However the base game is coded to make her scream every time, it was not a decision on my end.
I think putting a 3 min cooldown on the screaming is a good compromise. It's there but not obnoxiously. Either that or she screams once out of like ten uses.

In order to use it you press the button twice, by pressing it once you use the regular version. However the glide will still be used even if you only use the regular version.

apparently you have to complete all the stages in rainbow S and also the battlesphere in rainbow S to unlock the new ability called "Super Boost Dragon"

No it doesn't, all it is is an unused ability being put back into the game. It's the same as Lilac's regular Dragon Boost but with the powered up one you gotta press the button twice.
No it’s a mod which restores Lilac’s Cut ability which is Fp2 version of her Super Dragon Boost from FP1 it was shown in her gameplay trailer on shelin park but was cut most likely due to time constraints.
