I love how the picture shows sisuphus prime got the boulder on top of the pyramid, which means he was freed from Zeus' punishment and can plan on his insurrection.
actually hades was the one who gave sisyphus their punishment in the mythos, otherwise in ultrakill lore it’s probably gabriel. the divine comedy, which ultrakill is based on, doesn’t mention zeus. 🤓 maybe hades / zeus p-3?
i think this absoulutely fits seeing as how minos had a more melancholic feel to his music becouse he tried rebelling peacefully but sisyphus went on full attack mode also love the sandy city reference
@@Jamstroxian funnily enough he was right, sisyphus prime is kind of "gigantic" and did kind of tell about his hatred and vengeance towards heaven in his monologue
Hey dude! I really really love your work with VILE. As a writer, all the descriptions and lore in the game interests me deeply and I'm really fond of your game. Too bad that your works are so underrated, I really wish more people would see them. Best of wishes!
There was a man once,a former ruler. He was cursed by the gods forever damned to roll a boulder across the hills in the depths of the underworld. Then one day he had a vision,a vision of freedom and prosperity. The man grit his teeth rolling that boulder across the hills, determined to fulfil his dream. The man punched the boulder over and over again breaking his hands against it,untill one day...the boulder broke. The man grabbed the broken boulder with his broken fingers fighting trough the pain it brought him... And so king Sisyphus carried the boulder to his freedom breaking the curse placed on him so long ago.
Ye, you can hear it in the ending of act 2. I thought i’d put it in the intro because what happened in the ending to act 2 was basically what sisyphus wanted to do before he got killed.
@@Jamstroxian The same lietmotif is used in the tracks ORDER and Requiem from P-1 and 2-2, respectively. I personally like to think the tune represents Gabriel's punishment, given to those sinner who would dare defy God as they wallow in Hell. Maybe I'm just reading into it, but that's just me. Awesome theme, by the way.
alt marksman sucks but it, at the very least, lets you slabcoin some of the bigger bosses in the level (also can still one shot soldiers (heavily featured in the level))
i saw a comment about your roblox game and i checked it out and i love the lore to it, i love how desolate the environments are in your game, keep it up with vile 2
there are quite a few guitars in this one and the main one u hear is a very very modified fl slayer, if that's the one you're talking about i agree it could be a bit louder but in my testing i found it a bit too overwhelming
@@Jamstroxian no i mean making the pitch higher in the piano roll. one octave is about 12 notes, so if you had a G3 note, moving it up an octave would mean it'd be a G4 note, with a maximum of about 8
considering tenebre rosso sangue is apparently only theme #1 i doubt it's the theme for the actual prime boss (assuming it actually is sisyphus which is pretty likely) it's most likely panopticon's theme, i would assume sisyphus's theme would have a few greed soundtrack references in there
