@@MythrilBagelsnot a bad idea, but what if depending on the save file, it would change. It would never be the same, each time you close and reopen the game the attack value, health, sprite, etc would be different? You gotta hope for a lucky save.

I personally like how the Lavender Town melody is played at 0:22, it's perfect at being recognizable but not exactly "right", like the concept of misingno itself

Honestly this sounds like an interesting concept for a spinoff nintendo mini-chapter (maybe chapter 2.5 or smth), cuz the Gameboy is a significantly smaller dark world than everything else so it could be a little, 50 minute world

Not even that. MissingNo (and 'M) actually trashes a good chunk of memory, to include some save ram, because it's image is a buffer overflow. Within context of the game, it may as well be an eldritch abomination. Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow glitchology has been going on for awhile.

Surprisingly enough, no. Only missingno's name is the result of an error handler, the rest of it is just the game reading unrelated data as if it were pokemon data. Many other similar glitch pokemon exist, with their own unique glitch sprites, glitch names, glitch stats, and some even have glitch moves, all being unrelated game data interpreted as if it were pokemon data. Highly recommend watching MissingnoXpert's "let's glitch pokemon yellow" series if this is interesting to you, you'll have to dig through the community tab to find a link to it though. It's a bit old, but it covers a lot. If you want to learn even more, TheZZAZZGlitch's channel has a lot of cool videos about it too, I can't recommend them enough.

Its even more fitting because it only existed because they removed all of Gen 2’s pokemon from red and blue, which were planned to be in the game, but were discarded, with missingno. as the remnant And so far all of the secret bosses are based on discarded things, Ex: the joker card isn’t used in most card games, and spam mail is sent to the junk/trashed folder

if we want it to be like, not instantly killable, you could say it’s just not hittable with basic attacks for like glitch reasons. the only way to damage it would be with spells (rude buster, anything ralsei might learn, Red Buster, team spells etc)
