Looks fantastic! I hope all these artisans will survive. And honestly, if you think about it, instead of buying 4 or 5 soulless chinese plastic squonkers, you could just save up and buy one of these.
Most will continue as long as they want to continue, there's always going to be a market for mods with very low production amounts and one-offs so to speak
Yeah hopefully. Gladly mods are not like mobile phones and you have much room for individuality, quality and art. Although when I look at mods like Joytech Ocular, they are almost like mobile phones now Lol
Good review Dean. Beautiful looking mod and absolutely stunning piece of wood but Jeez's I'd expect a little bit better presentation other than a cardboard box that looks like it's been purchased from home bargains lol. Love that firing button and the smoked bottle, definitely one of the coolest squonk mods I've seen

Just scored one of these with both catch cups and an upgraded RAM chip for £120 secondhand 😍 As I was watching the review just now, I remembered watching it a couple of years ago and wanting a walnut squonker - ended up getting a Fynemods 26650.
Since i picked mine up last week the BilletBox has been chucked in the vape drawer. It's that good. Especially with the Boost Labs Shift BF on it. Best squonker i've owned, and i've had a few !

That is absolutely gorgeous. I love some walnut, but my favourite would maybe be teak or a very dark wood. Mahogany!!! My dream would be to one day have a mahogany desk. Off track a little, but you got me dreaming. The artist wants to play. lol Hope you have a great day. 😄

found what I need for xmas.... i need to start making wood mods. apparently it's the right business to b in lol. love it man. I do think it's over priced but not horribly. until recently squonking kinda been a vaping niche if u will. when more start getting mass produced price will come down as with every thing else. I remember when u didn't even look for a piece of vape gear unless u had upwards of $100 to spare. it is what it is. and I get what u pay for..... usually

Absolutely love the intro on this one. Question what mechanical wood box squanker or regular mod is you're favorite. Even if it is a diy kit. I am looking at getting one but am just finding so many. Also how are you liking that mushroom mod
Dean have you got your hands on 1 of them there Coppervape squonk mods? I bought the solid brass 1 the other day. Lovely geart chunk of solid brass, polishes up a treat! I'm well impressed thus far. I'ts very similar to this freehand s in design. You can buy them with or without an rda although I wouldn't bother with the rda tbh. They're so good I'm likely going to buy the aluminium version, in black :) I'm really surprised that it hasn't had the same kind of attention the noisy cricket was given especially considering its far better than that. Anyway you can either get them direct from their facebook page (but not cheaper) or gear best, 3fvape and fasttech sell them (no doubt many more) for around £20/$30 or something - well worth a gander. I think you'll love it - mech mod performance with a squonk option :).
i was really close to buying this because it really is beautiful. but turns out i'm not a huge fan of squonking because i have a hard time finding the right pressure on the bottle. so i always have to take the atty cap off and look closely and it then takes longer than dripping. :D yeah noobish but maybe i need more practice although i'm using an octopus mods squonker a while now (2 months?) ...
What is a decent price wood squonker out their I love the wood on these I'm even thinking of trying to build one in the shop. This one does look like its worth the money 💵 but I can't afford this one.
I imagine Limelight may have some, but also I bought a couple of supersoft bottles from Cheeky Vapes in the UK and one of those is what I was using in the review :)

i will like to have a mechanical squonk mod , but my problem is i like to have a warm vape and clapton coil and i think at 0.25 it's not enough for me :( i have already a lost vape therion bf with a hadaly on top and i running it with a kanthal clapton coil 3.5mm , 24/32 ,6 wraps, 0.75 ohms and at 44 watts came to 5.30 volts do you have any suggestion of build for mechanical mod for my style of vape ? sorry for my english i'm speak french :)
with the hadaly you can easily put an alien coil (3x26g N80 core, 36g+ outer wire) with 6 wraps in it. comes out to ~0.22ohm and still a pretty warm vape on a good mech with good batterys. even a 26g fused clapton (n80/ss) would probably work well. although the outer wire has to be fine for mechs. with 32g outer you have to throw a fuck ton of wattage on that coil to ramp it up. and that's even worse with single core claptons.
Wow, lovely jubbly one! but it's out of my budget, I'd go to one and half ton for that walnut. I love walnut air rifle custom stocks, probably 10 times the amount of wood that little fellow uses, look at these prices for custom walnut stocks www.customstock.co.uk/ then you'll see that it's way over priced but hey, it is custom and I love it. been looking at trying squonking and this kind of mod would encourage me but 150.00 quids please!
Looks good sure but I don't understand why anyone would want to pay that much for something so basic. No wattage control, lock function or anything? Comparatively it's like going back to a flip phone just because you like the style.
Good craftmanship sure but I wouldn't buy a wooden phone. I don't see the appeal in mechs. I prefer something where I don't need to worry about it shorting out and blowing up and have control over the wattage with the press of a button. Mechs just seem like more money for less functionality.
Wondering if you would even comment, been 10 mo. I won a spot to get one.........$300+...... wow........is it worth it? Thinking I need lunch money, hmmmmmmmm
