Damn, I practically lived there in the 70's and 80's, I never saw it even close to that crowded, kinda sad really...

u should see it now. I surf the pier there all the time and the crowds at the beach are insane

HellaFlyGames I have been thinking of buying a jeep so I can go back to my old haunts and surf fish. This just makes it seem all the more unlikely...

Moontanman WIlmington is a hot spot now, we just gotta roll with it. Wrightsville is crowded as hell i dont even bother going over there

HellaFlyGames I haven't been to wrightsville in years, I understand that even boats are having problems with crowding on the island...

Moontanman I just went ther for the first time a few weeks ago, not a fun experience, it took my father 2 hours to park and get back to were we were. When we just wanna relax at the beach the drive on part of fort fisher is a good option. Its not crowded at all.....yet
