Thank you for your review of this show. I realize this was 8 months ago now, so I can probably just watch them all in a row. I loved the movie National Treasure but didn't even know there was a second movie. My grandfather was a mason. I joined Eastern Star in 2005, St Mary's Chapter 9.

I liked this show! As a current Non-Mason seeking to petition it really inspired me more in that direction. I feel that many scenes of the show have Masonic themes, and that this is a very positive show for any teen/young adult.

The plummed serpent is Quetzalcoatl (prononounce: Kwatz-eh-coh-aht-el) the most important of the Mexican gods. At 19:52 of the video you catch a glimpse of his figure in the gold piece becoming the all seeing eye. In his eye you will also note it is made of jade. Jade and emerald, as was gold were heavily traded by the Mayans. The main seaport of that Trade is Tulum in the Yucatan. It so happens that I will be there in a week and a half. I suspect that the treasure will be that of Mayan origin. Post script: I went to Disney+ the poster for the trailer has that sun symbol floting over the Yucatan, confirming my suspicion of Mayan(maybe they'll go Aztec but that's more central Mexico) treasure. We shall see if i deduced correctly. Post Post Script: at 00:40 of the Disney trailer the top of the box(square, wink-wink) is clearly Mayan symbols that look like a calendar. The dots and lines are a counting system 1-13 counter clockwise starting at the bottom. The symbols around it remind me of the Baktun(Bach-toon) symbols of the Mayan Great calendar, but in the Disney featurette it is used as a sort of compass(wink-wink). I am VERY excited for this show. I also heard that Cage will be making part 3 as there has been a lot of buzz on this series.

So, I'm going to cut them some slack on the portrayal of the lodge since it's a set. I think we're looking at the west. No reason for the pillars to be on the squares like chess pieces. We kept our pillars in front of the stairs to the left and right of the SW. Let's face it, they're pretty big and they need to be someplace until you need them. As far as the altar, some lodges have different stuff on them as ornaments so I'm OK with the engraving. No bible or compasses and square but again, I'm cutting them some slack as it's tv. No lights in view but it could be camera angle. Remember, it's a trailer and we aren't seeing everything. I agree with you that it's not a lodge but they did a fair job of mocking one up for the show. Keep us posted Brother, I won't be watching as I don't have Disney +. Hopefully they'll do a good job representing the Craft. Till next time!

Hmmmm the symbols in a circle around the inner symbols on that box … I am fairly certain they are Mayan numerals … numbers. The four symbols within those l do not recognize.
