My husbands grandfather was a mason and I’ve told my hubby about what freemasonry is. He refuses to believe his Bible school teaching grandfather was involved in something bad. Ugh!

My father in law and his brother in law are buried in the Masonic section of the cemetery. On Memorial Day I spray holy water blessed by an exorcist on their graves.

Hi Tanya, from Australia, you have a few good priest over their, one being Fr Jeffery Kirby. During the pandemic he broadcast his mass and homily everyday, but now, only does Sundays. We have a couple of good homilists down under, and we do not seem to have a crisis in the church as you have. Please we are not perfect , but I think we weeded most of them out in the 1980’s. @@DeeVioletSkye yes I can share the testimony. I was aware of Padre Pio from religion class in high school, the teacher took a day or two to share about his life and ministry. The stigmata and other supernatural manifestation in his life really got my attention, although otherwise in high school religion class I mostly did not pay much attention and was a class clown 🤡. Go forward to when I was 24 I had a major tragedy in my life. I was prescribed Adderall for adhd in college. The drug caused me to become “psychotic” “Anfedamine induced psychosis” was the diagnosis. It ended up with me running around but naked with a shotgun thinking I was the 2nd coming of Jesus and I had to save the world. I ended up taking my infant daughter’s life and turn the gun on myself. I came to in the hospital ICU, the drs where able to put me mostly back together with several surgeries. But now I was facing 20 years to life in prison for murder. Well long story short my family did support me and got me a good lawyer and I was found not guilty because my psychotic illness and behavior was the result of a legally prescribed drug. Well because of this event I did need to find answers and became a devoted Christian and started attending an Assembly of God church, and reading the Bible. It was a radical change for me because before I was agnostic. But just to deal with the huge trauma of what I been through I found Jesus or he found me. Now within a year or less of what happened I went to bed as usual and I remember waking up with a man standing over my bed and there like an open portal of light also in my room and another person or an Angel was stand farther away. But the man standing over me was Padre Pio and than he was holding me in his arms like cradling me and I remember I was waring a white robe when I looked down at myself. He looked right into my face and said “do you know what you are supposed do do” and I tried to say something but I could not, I just fell asleep in his arms. The glory and love of God emanating from him was so overwhelming I could not think or move. And than I just woke up on the morning like nothing had happened. Clearly God had a reason for sending him to me, the love from heaven is so pure and amazing. I think I needed some extra help :) I also than read and study in the Bible about the robe of righteousness.

Sarah, I have just read an interesting fact. Did you know that holy communion had a history of being received in the hand before Vatican 2? In the 4th century st Cyril of jurusalem writes about the attitudes and manner of receiving communion, which was in the hand. I'm not saying recieving in the hand is better, but perhaps abandoning your parish because of this might be harsh.

@@Martin-sn6gm that's an early form of christianity. with centuries passing God develops and furthers its people, that's why Latin Mass with its norms is seen as a summit. going back to 4th century Christianity is kind of silly as the church said it wants to operate in a modern world. vatican 2 wants it both ways - go back to early christian times and be modern. how do you square the two?

@Borna Fresh the significance of the altar rail is that it denotes a space where consecrated persons are, like a priest versus regular faithful. it goes all the way back to the temple where there was a space only a priest could enter - the holy of holies. similar set-ups exist in catholic churches - eastern rites and orthodox churches. protestants got rid of all this, and novus ordo is a protestant version within a catholic church, so that's why no railings.

Yes, freemasonry has many levels that one progresses up. Each level has secret information taught to it. Apparently in the final levels it is revealed that the god they have been speaking of and revering all along is Lucifer. The people at the lower levels do not understand this.
