A friend of mine, very religious, was at a coffee shop and someone came running in yelling a boy got hit by a car and the car took off. She was the only one that came out to see how she could help. The boy was laying there saying he couldn’t feel his legs so she took a crucifix (blessed from Teopoli) and started to pray over the boy laying the crucifix on the boys legs. Ambulance finally came and he was admitted to the hospital. She left her number to stay in touch. Long story short the boy called her the next day saying he was discharged from the hospital able to feel his legs and walk with just a cast on his arm! (Praise be Jesus!)The boy’s father came on the phone to thank her and said that they are Muslim but they know Mary and love her! ❤

“They know Mary and Love her”. The Bible says Jesus heals. The Bible tells us to ask the Father in His Son’s name does it not? Jesus ask you “Do you think others there were praying to HIM for this child to be okay?” What do you say to him? …No watering down the New Testament…that was Rome who made the new freed Christianity church to pray to goddess as to be equal & not above their Roman gods.

I have a Muslim friend. He’s actually a taxi driver and very kind to me. From time to time he would not let me pay for my trip. Since I am handicapped, I always asked him to drive me to the church , and back to my home. Last month, I said goodbye to him and gave him my rosary. He was very happy with my gift to him. We often spoke of God, of Jesus and Mary. When you spoke that there is hope, I believe it. Even when at this time he is still a Muslim . He sent his children to Catholic school and respected our holy days. I hope too that one day our Muslim brothers will find Jesus as their Saviour through Mary whom they recognized .

It was actually my exposure to Islam that lead me back to the Church. I was deployed to Afghanistan and stationed for a year in Qatar. First thing that really stood was their frequency prayer and faith. Then in Qatar we had a speaker explain Ramadan to us, and with utter sorrow in his voice he said, “Catholics used to do the same thing (fasting, good deeds, focusing more on God and less on work) for Lent.” Hearing him say that really woke me up.

I have been searching for the truth. I have been studying different denominations. I have gone to different Bible studies. I have prayed for guidance. I found many programs on religion on RU-vid. I was raised a Roman Catholic and found many protestants disregard many of the principles and beliefs of Catholicism. I was offended by this mockery and felt like an outsider. Then I found the Marian Helpers and Father Chris Alar. After a only one episode, I knew I had found my Church and all my Parochial teachings flooded back into me.I now have joined as a Marian Helper. I had a very dear friend who was confined to her bed. Shortly before her death, she told me she was praying for Kim Jung On. And she said, "Who is praying for him?" She taught me a life lesson that day. Ever since she passed I have prayed for him and every despot creating suffering. If they were once touched by Mary's love they would be healed .

Very true. Here in Malaysia which is a Muslim country, our Muslim brothers & sisters are mostly very peaceful, gentle and kind-hearted people. And the Malays, Chinese & Indians all live harmoniously together, no matter what the political situation may be. And there are often religious dialogues between the Christians, Muslims, Hindus, etc. We pray that this country will stay this peaceful forever! God bless you abundantly, Fr. Chris! Islam is the wrong one. Their book doesn't even know the 10 commandments. It doesn't know that God is YHWH. It confuses Mary with Miriam sister of Moses. It thinks that Mary is part of the trinity. The Quran is simply wrong and they claim that it is the the direct word of allah. Allah is very stupid, he got so many things wrong.

When I was a teenager ( I'm 65) I joined the Mormon Church. Later I married in the temple , Salt Lake City, UT. At old age I started questioning about Mormonism and started listen to your teachings which lead me right back to Catholicism ! I go to the Mass now, I confessed and participated of the Eucaristia which took me to another level. Thank you! Thank you for bring me back to my roots, from where I shouldn't ever, ever left ! ❤🙏❤

@@juliedo4258 I’m boring old Church of England, but my atheist parents sent me to Catholic Convent boarding school. I always loved the mass, even though I had to sit at the back and not join in. My God parents were Catholics too and they took me to church regularly. Amen, we have to be responsible for our choices. Many Arabs are raised to survive difficult living conditions usually within their own familial structure. Heavily ordered and devoid of actual knowledge of who God is. It so that muslims do not find God, because He is found only when you seek Him. And He is found in the Words of the Prophets of God. Quran contorted into a religion is contradictory to the Hebrew religion where the descendants of Abraham have the Words of the Prophets called Torah, Ketuv'im Nevi'im etc. But also the Messi Yeshua from Judea and the town is called Bethlehem. A border town to Samaria and Palestine. Which were intermittent with foreigners from Assyria Jordan and Syrian Babylon (northern Israel). So basically if any reject the Messiah of Israel, they have rejected God. But I find it odd that Islam is claiming Jerusalem when they did not originate there. My guess is that they know Yeshua is God, the Messiah and the false christ is the one they await. Glad we can accept all of our new brothers into the Messiah's body, but in reality Arabs we're also originally followers of God. Some departed from the faith.

The 4th Commandment calls someone other than God “Father.” What do you call the man who sired you?; The rich man called out “Father Abraham” to come and dip his finger in cool water (parable LK 16:24); St. Paul calls religious leaders “fathers” in Acts 7:2 and 22:1; St. Paul tells the Corinthians in 1Cor4:15, “I became your father”; a priest is a “spiritual father” w/many children; Jesus in Jn 8:56 said, “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." Jesus meant that there is only one creator, or one true father, one “Abba”. As the 4th commandment testifies, Jesus did not mean to never call someone father in one sense. Jesus meant we are no longer under the covenant of the patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob). We are now under the covenant of the one and only “Abba, the Father” Helps to know the history of Christianity.... that is how the theologians all explained it. I think they know better than you and me :) God bless.

I agree in what Fr Chris said (as an expat working in the Middle East for 5 years). I wish the people know about Jesus and only then they have peace and joy in their hearts. Thank the Lord I am able to bring my rosary in this country and without it I won't be able to survive in this country. Let's pray for the people here so that they will find Jesus.

Since I have been praying Mary’s Flame of Love Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet everyday I don’t feel as confused about faith issues. Your videos have helped enormously to rid me of doubt. I now know the Catholic Church has definitely not changed her teachings, and that there are still many Priests who remain faithful to these teachings. Mary is an awesome mum!!! Very inspiring, Father. Someone taught me to say "God bless him for causing me to suffer" whenever I dwelt upon a past suffering. I had had so much trouble dwelling on hurt from other people, and like St Faustina, was troubled by that. But I realized that it is not so much about the thoughts but what you do with those thoughts. And I found that by praying that prayer every time I couldn't help but dwell on a memory of suffering, it brought me a great peace. Sometimes the dwelling would last for a long time, and I would just keep repeating that prayer until I felt at peace. It really helped me a lot, because instead of feeling guilty afterwards, I felt refreshed for praying for my enemies. God does not expect from us what we cannot give, only what we can give.

Father Alar, I read an interesting book from a former Muslim, Walid Shoebat, called God's War on Terror, which had some interesting theories and history about the beginnings of Islam, and their take on interpretation of the book of Revelation vs. their prophecy of the 12th Imam and/or the Mahdi. Have you ever read that one? It was fascinating. It kind of answers the question on CCC 841, profession vs actual link. I think God found a way to have the Blessed Mother in the Quaran in order to eventually lead them to the truth. Thank you for the reminder to pray for them!

But since I learnt that my unforgiveness can lead me to hell, I decided to yes I shall be reporting the people who hurt me to God, just to acknowledge that I am pissed. Said she only married so she didn’t get stoned. I tried to interrupt, he talked over me. We arrived at the city and I had to leave. I did not get into an argument. He finished with telling me I was born Muslim. I told him that he was is wrong I’m not Muslim and regards to Mother Mary that was not my belief. I then left. I now pray for his conversion.

@@sharonthompson8061 this is so wrong, he was either a non believer, a believer who doesn't know scripture and made assumption or this was fake. Do you know why Muslim women cover up? Its because Islam considers mother Mary to be the most respected women of all time, second being Muhammad's wife. Mother Mary, whom the virgin birth is described in more detail (it has more verses and description than the Bible on exactly how she convinced those around her of her virginity), used to cover up for modesty so Muslims decided to follow her. Unfortunately in Christianity, this can only be found in parts of eastern Europe as Christianity has become too liberal

@@mxmike1388 There is only one Abba Father, yes, but as with thousands of words, there are different applications. The 4th Commandment calls someone other than God “Father.” What do you call the man who sired you?; The rich man called out “Father Abraham” to come and dip his finger in cool water (parable LK 16:24); St. Paul calls religious leaders “fathers” in Acts 7:2 and 22:1; St. Paul tells the Corinthians in 1Cor4:15, “I became your father”; a priest is a “spiritual father” w/many children; Jesus in Jn 8:56 said, “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." Jesus meant that there is only one creator, or one true father, one “Abba”. As the 4th commandment testifies, Jesus did not mean to never call someone father in one sense. Jesus meant we are no longer under the covenant of the patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob). We are now under the covenant of the one and only “Abba, the Father” Helps to know the history of Christianity.... that is how the theologians all explained it. I think they know better than you and me :) God bless.

Jesus is the only way to the Father but he doesn't pray to himself. Look up the meaning of "pray." It means "to ask." Jesus is the only way to the Father, but there are many ways to Jesus and we ask for intercession. Christians bring others to Jesus. Jesus doesn't bring himself to himself. He goes directly to the Father. Andrew brought Peter to Jesus. Philip brought Nathanael to Jesus. I brought my family to Jesus... but there's no intermediator b/n Jesus and man? In proclaiming Christ the one mediator (cf. I Tim 2:5-6), the text of St. Paul's Letter to Timothy excludes any other parallel mediation, but not subordinate mediation. In fact, before emphasizing the one exclusive mediation of Christ, he urges "that supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all men" (2:1). If subordinate mediation is not allowed, please don’t ask anyone to pray for you because prayers are a form of mediation. Moreover, the Greek word used for "one" that St. Paul used here in I Tim 2:5-6 in the phrase "one mediator" is not monos, which would mean "sole," but eis, which can mean "one" in the sense of "principal," or "first in a series." Jesus is the principal Mediator who enables many other sub-mediators to transmit the grace of God to others. Again, faithful Christians act as sub-mediators in Christ when they pray for their neighbors, share the Gospel with the lost, and serve the poor. The Bible says that our growth in faith and holiness is aided by the intercessions of the other members of the Body of Christ (Eph 6:18; I Thess 3:11-13; I Tim 2:1-4), and there’s no better intercession than that of Jesus’ own mother. Jesus comes from the line of David an in the Davidic Kingdom the role of the Queen Mother was important (1Kings2:19). I remember one time seeing this young lady (maybe 20's?) walking into Church dressed in some black mostly see-through garment and sitting down. I could not believe what she was wearing. Very short shorts and a black bra like top underneath this see-through shirt type top. I also remember when my niece was going for her Confirmation she wanted to where jeans and a t-shirt and said what does it matter what I wear to Church? God loves everyone just as they are right?" I worry about these generations now (Gen Y, Millennials, Gen Z or iGen, etc).

The quote from St Faustina’s Diary is special to me. My address at one time was 628. I can remember to put a “one” in front of it. There have been some people who abused and hated me. Yes I do pray for them, sometimes with gritted teeth. So glad Jesus told her, not feelings, but an act of the will. A rosary each night for my abuser. He is a very troubled man
