The same exact thing happened to me. I started on single kicks. Really enjoyed them. Switched over to the bixby, loved it..and then got so used to double kicks that it became hard to skate a single kick to its full potential 🙌 Same Maria!

Mike says "I'm so sorry, this is not a good video" but I disagree. Glad to know that I'm not the only one going absolutely crazy because of which socks I'm skating in, or how the pants feel on me. Struggling over here with shoe sizes and availability as well. 😝

Freestyle is so difficult but looks so easy to the everyday person, same as BMX flat ground, I've been heavy into both at different times in my life, and I've got so much respect for the dedication it takes to actually get "good" at it...... First you gotta learn the trick, then you've gotta add speed & steez, then you have to link tricks and find your style.

Finding shoes in my size is also a struggle for me. Size 13 men's is also surprisingly hard to get as well. :/

board has to deff be long enough too 7.9-8.1 x 29 or 30 for freestyle and 8.6 x 32.5 for street stuff i do

7 women's is kids sizes, try shopping for kids skate shoes. Vans should be easy to get in smaller sizes

most kids shoes go up to 5 in women’s

Not only that, the materials and over all quality of kids shoes is different than men’s/ women’s sizes. Size 7’s women’s in men’s shoes is usually a 5.5 which is right after the cut off for most kids shoes sizes (which is 5) While Vans does have a wider variety in sizes the shoes I’m usually interested in, that I feel would work with what I’m looking for in skating, start at a men’s 8-9
