Such a shame man. Akon said it perfectly in another clip I just watched. "Some people get motivation when they see you in the hood and are happy to see you, others wish they were you and live as if the world owes them something" Imagine taking somebody's life for a chain. What a pathetic existence.
@@mrmorris4855 lol unfortunately, that’s mostly true. Their may be a few people motivated by it, but by and large, you’re just flashing a bunch of shit in front of people who have nothing. I’m definitely not suggesting, in any way, shape, or form, that he deserved to die, but honestly that was just Asinine 🤷♂️
Severe culture problem being ignored Nt 1 blm protest against all blk on blk murder. How many pnb takeoff nipsy etc etc country music singers nt killn each other Plez step up n stop this nonsensical killing. U got his chain but u gonna do life now Tragic
@@kw6833 Real talk. I was born in 81 so I seen the transition. Older homies had my old hood on lock .Nike cortez,Fila track suits, big body buicks, Cadillacs, pagers and weed smoke on the block every night.
Back then, the guys wearing big jewelry were known to be ready for violence and retribution. They WERE gangsters, and were therefore less likely to get pressed. But today's rappers are civilians who look like gangsters, so in the eyes of a predator, they look like an easy lick. I'm not condoning it or justifying it- it is tragic and shouldn't be happening... but the world isn't how it should be, so we gotta move accordingly.
Exactly. They're not understanding this concept. In the 80s and 90s people wore jewelry to make a statement that they got it like that, they're untouchables. It said look at me in in the hood with all these jewels and no ones gonna touch me. Nowadays people wear jewels not understanding that they aren't shit in the street and very much touchable.
It’s sad that we have to live an a era where you’ll get blamed for getting killed because you wanted to wear your jewelry and drive your car. Why shouldn’t I be able to have my things that I worked hard for?
When I was in the phillipines I understood I couldn’t walk around with my new iPhone and AirPods and whatnot and not get unwanted attention. An iPhone for them is alooooot of money , couple months salaries. I understood that it’s bad behavior of me to flaunt my “wealth” in front of people who don’t have the same expensive items. The same apply with jewelry, you can’t walk around with 100k jewelry around people who are late on their rent etc etc. use your brain
In the 80's when I was growing up is was bomber jackets. Many people were killed for those jackets. A winter coat, not because the shooter did not have one because they wanted that one. We like to act like shit has changed but it is all just the same shit. Feeling entitled to what is not yours.
You must be from NYC? Between 1981-1987 lots of people got killed over those leather and elephant skin triple goose bombers. A kid that lived around the block from me got killed by a grown man over that coat
@@whiteheart6827 I didn't know black people in Boston were getting killed up there back then. I remember blacks in Boston sticking together because they had to always go to war with those grimy Irish boys from the south end
@@daltonhanleyjr4142they were. I knew a kid in Mashpee that’s on the cape that died over one. But there were a few all around that died over them and sneakers too at one point I forget what kind. When you have things others want and can’t get it’s chaos. It has always been that way. It’s like that with white people too just in a different way. Society likes to blame rap music today but it’s always been the way it is.
PNB should've been able to eat wherever he wants...but those ain't the rules of the land. It sure ain't in Philly so I just can't figure out why dawg would think it was kosher in somebody else city. Pride always gets us in trouble man
I don’t think his pride got him killed I think it’s more of the toxic mindset we have as black Americans. I will never understand why we feel the need to rob someone of something they earned especially our own kind we can’t say Black Lives Matter if we kill innocent black men and women ourselves. But you made a valid point
He dont give a fuck bout nothing but street drama, Vlad is a gangster wannabe stuck in a privilige White old man body, he only brings out shit bout people instead of promoting music or asking something more about the people he interviews, he only ask about beef n shit..he dont even care about what the responses are, he wanna bring you to his point of view...hey but well done man here i am watching some of your shitty ass interviews with nothing of good content but himself and his stupid questions...
@@fabsluciano He has people work for him, he’s just not a blogger. He keep bringing up the same thing over and over. So you mean to tell me vlad doesn’t has anything else to talk about?
You have to know your territory I'm not eating anywhere in the hood even in my own area I know where Hood spots at and I don't even go there it's always some drama popping off
@@stephenbishop3004 yes it is, I'ma put it like this... Unless you have family, a job, business, etc you don't have NO BUSINESS on the Eastside & this is coming from a Eastside native (Stanford ave & Imperial) I have never eaten there and never will
@@1n_motion , no not anybody. Someone who is as recognizable as Vlad, should not go there. Whether he's dressed down or not, he's still a recognizable millionaire. I'm from the neighborhood, and trust me, I know what I'm talking about.
Not really. There are middle class working families and not all gang memebers. Besides thats where he is from. Why should he be afraid to live amongst normal people, he doesnt seem like a flashy guy anyways.
I would love to see Ricky become an activist. His intelligence and knowledge on issues related to not just Black but poor and all minority communities. These people relate to those who have similar experiences.
not from la but if its like any other city if u mind ur business u wont get pulled into ghettos cuz theres no opportunities thatll attract u anyway unless u wanna visit the hood as a tourist. If u are in a sketchy looking area just keep you head down and keep moving smart.
Is it more or less dangerous depending on your looks? Skincolour for example. I’m middle eastern. Living in Sweden, but for someone who don’t know me, you could take me for European, white American or whatever
Idk Vlad the way Gascon is doing things the shooter may be out by 25 and feel like he’s rehabilitated. That’s how the law was back in the day per Melvin from 83
Vlad gets new guest on to ask them tha same shit he ask the last guest and tell them same shit he wouldn’t do and y he doesn’t do certain stuff we get Ur is getting very redundant
Freeway Ricky lowkey worth 100Ms Of course the homies wanna pop you Vlad Amusing how you try to talk sense on crime in an interview with someone with probably 100 bodies to his name
Vlad you a Jewish white man TRUST there is NOT a black man on planet earth going to bother you. YOU are safer than 99.9% of all black folks that would go to that location this is the hard facts.
@@shottakush8404 Show me link to the white folks getting it everyday YOU lying black folks ONLY kill each other. See black folks KNOW cops will arrest them for trying to harm white folks BUT they get away scot free for hurting other black folks it is designed that way I thought you knew this oh well.
