This was very hard to watch. I have the same jet and I’m terrified to maiden it. It’s been built and it is a shelf queen for the last year and a half. I keep telling myself once I feel I have enough experience, then I’ll maiden it. I have the same situation with my free wing 80 mm A-10 thunderbolt. I’m also afraid to maiden that one! Lol.
All airplanes will eventually crash 😩 can’t it’s just some are faster than others. The A10 is definitely easier to fly. As for the Tomcat, fly it with the wings out and get a good feel for it. Only sweep the wings when you’re comfortable.. And of course keep the speed up.
Oh man!!! I'm so sorry that happened to you. I hope you get another one very soon. I have mine in a box yet to be built as I have other planes to build up and get my skills up. It looks like a elevator servo or hinge failed. Crashes happen, I sincerely hope you get yours up and flying soon!! Redemption flights are sweet!! Subscribed!!
I’m already flying the new one😎 it was a stall I think, but it caught me by surprise, in the middle of goin a roll then snapped and had no chance to recover. It’s a nice plane to fly just make sure you upgrade the motors to either the 1920kv or the 2100kv
@@freestilelyfestyle with the wings swept one needs to keep the speed up or risk the wing stall. Looks like the right wing stalled. I have done it so many times. Some have said it looks like the elevator malfunction...I've only seen elevator malfunction when at high speed or high Gs - neither was happening here.
Yep lol despite what everyone’s says I’m pretty sure it was a stall, it happens we get too comfortable at times not realizing we are moving too slow, but yeah pilot is ok 🤙🏽😌
That's a simple result of flying alil to Happy trying to impress an show out for the watchers an spectators . I wouldn't think that's what's this hobby is about , 😂 the only thing is understood is that it's all about attention this guy was looking for , BUT NOT WHAT EVERYONE REAL GOT OUT IT , , hey that's the clown how crashes an laughs at his own disaster an will do it again as long as we give him some attention 😂😂😂
@@freestilelyfestyle right you know there's such thing to have fun with this stuff we do but to destroy things with no class or style of representation of the hobby, yes it's your money, but also in the hobby we are being watched meaning "Under Radar/the big brother sht" Meaning how serious most of us take this hobby. An that definitely doesn't look as something committed themselves into the hobby. And if the hobby went on to hell , lol this is the guy that will go on finding something else to go on smiling an laughing about thinking it's the key to fitting in people how respects what we're in fight of keeping . I myself don't appreciate the overall reach government is doing to the hobbyists modifiers . And yes he's in a "sanctioned field" that doesn't make it any better to why even that's a strong reason to why it is nearly necessary .
@freestilelyfestyle right, my FW F-15 crashed on take-off. It hurt, but there was no need to get mad about it. I fixed it and put it it back in the air.
... and I’ll add to that, if you’re going to crash, MAKE SURE TO GET IT ON CAMERA! I’ve had some spectacular crashes but I wasn’t filming at the time so I couldn’t share the footage!
@Aerospace Matt It's frustrating when you have some filming your flight but misses the spectacular crash because they have transferred attention to another model !

@@freestilelyfestyle hey I just remembered I had a Great Planes F-14 60 OS MAX size motor nitromethane it was above my skill level but I wanted it and I clipped a tree and splattered that thing but turned around and bought another one . I want to buy one of these I see guys putting turbine jets on them that's crazy
