We just want to put in most of our micro hydro system as well as the solar power system this summer so that the following summer we'll have power to build our house with! Both of those systems are MAJOR projects for newbies like us to research and then implement on our own, especially since we're doing as much of the work out on our homestead as we possibly can from milling up our own lumber, to cutting the timber frame to doing the road improvements, designing and building the house, etc, etc. Any more though, companies that help you put in those systems out here cost tens of thousands of dollars just in labor, and I believe you'd be more reasonably priced. Also, the microhydro would have to be a stealth system, and I believe you'd be willing to help us with that and most importantly, know what you're doing! Anyway, it would be awesome to have someone we can trust and feel confident in to install those systems for us. We'd be more than happy to do most of the work (and all of the grunt work) ourselves with coaching and guidance, but we wouldn't have to put ourselves through school to figure our how to do it all on top of everything else we have to get done. So, you know...one less thing to worry about. Well actually, two! 😊
