I love how the Chinese are still preserving human interdependence and helping others, while other developed countries have stripped their people of these qualities, believing that they are thus protecting themselves from strangers.

I feel this! I just can’t walk past an elder on the street in any under-condition, and not do something. I’m from Detroit, and I remember finding a nearly 70 year old man on the street after work- way too advanced in age to be homeless. I poured my whole wallet out on him…no one should be cold/homeless/hungry, especially not our Elders.
Good people do good deeds when they think no one is watching. People being kind when they have no idea it's being taped is so different than people how video tape giving large tips, buying stuff and giving it out or handing out cash.

I’m not saying this kind of kindness doesn’t exist here in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I rarely, if never see it. Being low income and raising my sons, I know it can be tough. I have raised my boys to always try and help. It only takes a little extra to grab a sandwich and hot drink at the deli before you leave Safeway. We have such a large homeless and working poor crisis in California. People tend to just keep on walking here. I love these videos. The kindness of others warms my heart. From a warm drink, to a coat. You never know what others are going through. Nor do you know where your path my bring you in the future. Unseen circumstances. It only takes one to change our lives. Thank you @treeman for doing these social experiements and spreading awareness around the world.

The thing that is always obvious in these videos is that helping people makes people happy. That lady walking away after buying the coat knew she did the right thing. Sometimes we forget that.
This made me cry hope more people genuinely help those in need in their simple way... The world won't change us but we can change ourselves to live a better life in this world... Simple gestures will give out simple hope and strength...
