Weak link of Frehley's Comet is actually Frehley himself. The other guys are dumbing it down to Ace's stumbly,rusty off note playing. Anton most definitely. That dude can play any style.

I love Ace but I wish Todd would have done more of the singing. Ace just cant sing lol... I love the guy but stick to the guitar dude! .. That mic setup though is horrible..

I really believe Ace suffers from some pretty significant cognitive issues do to tbi from car accidents and many years of alcohol and drug abuse. I think this is why his playing playing suffers. We are lucky he is around at all. I can forgive him and still try and enjoy the music

i disagree. lack of practice is the reason he played so poorly here. Ace did zero preparation. Guys like Pat, Todd and Anton obviously respect being a musician much more. Very sad when Ace disrespects the fans he claims to have so much admiration for.

I love Ace for everything he´s done, but this is what happens when you have people around you telling you how great you are, no matter what . You may forget you need to practise. I went to an Ace concert last year and he played great, but saddly his performance here sucks. P.S. He played rock soldiers too (as he always does)

John Regan was the only member to stay 1983- 1990 with the band, co-wr, produced sometimes and him and his wife ran the fan club!!!! RIP in Rock and Roll Heaven our Friend.....

Met John when he was touring with Peter Frampton years ago and they were performing at Bass Performance Hall in Ft Worth, TX. John was coming into the building near where my friends and I were also coming in and he insisted on opening the door for all of us. I made the comment of appreciation to him that chivalry was not dead and he had a chuckle at that and wished us a good evening and that he hoped we would enjoy the show. It was my birthday and they were recording that evening. When we got to the window, my friends said our seats had been moved up because they weren't full house.

Have any of you gotten to know Ace by know? He is famous for showing up late or not showing up at all to rehearsals . He did it with Kiss , Frehley’s Comet & and his solo band.

Love Ace...and especially Frehley's Comet....but why does Ace's guitar always sound out of tune? Why does he seem like he's drunk or on painkillers? Why do his efforts to play and sing WELL seem non-existent? Does he just not care? Why doesn't he re-learn and rehearse his OWN songs before a reunion performance like this? Is he even playing in the same key as the others? Does he even remember that he was IN Frehley's Comet? So many unanswered questions..... Still, cool to see ALL the original Comets together again.

His Guitar never stays in tune because it’s a Gibson Les Paul and some of them have problems with the harsh angle that the strings are strung to after the nut.

Because the band is called Four By Fate and not Frehley's Comet. And the Comet reunion was the two songs performed by the members of Frehley's Comet, not the whole show.

Carlos Solorzano Ok, to be super specific, Ace co-wrote it with Eric Carr. So it's one of the best riffs or songs that Ace has ever "co-written." I should have been more clear.

Say all u want I still think they kick ass. Rock soldiers was my song when I was at the 101st fort Campbell. We would go out in the field for 30 days or so and this would be the first thing I would listen too when I hit town again. Blasting on my kraco cassette player in my 68 Ford. Thanks ace! I don't even listen to kiss anymore but Ace...all day long!

I saw Ace Live in October of last year. He still sounded as amazing as he did in 1976, but he didn't play any Frehley's Comet songs. I was disappointed then, but I see why now...

So …no one thought to tune their guitars? A e is obviously tuned down to match his voice today. But the bass is tuned from D which is bizarre and cant be on purpose. Todd’s voice is still there but didn’t adjust for Ace. He should have tuned down as well and it would still match his voice.
