Freight trains at Eastleigh on a very changed weather of damp wet conditions but never failed too stop many of us enthusiasts going there and getting what needs for us. Also things took a turn with 66951 failing just outside Basingstoke with traction motor failure and axel issues. 66511 was sent on 1Z99 to rescue the stricken train with 66951 being removed and placed in the bay platform at Basingstoke for arrangements to get it to be repaired and 66511 then took the working to Southampton running somewhat 2-3 hours late.
Also 08 08511 doing several shunt moves in east yard.
