Hello Bev, at the time your video came out on Sunday, we were having a tornado touch down in our area so I had to stop watching and try to be safe; we lost power, still no power yet, it was pretty bad and scary but thank God we are all safe and fortunate with no damage unlike some neighbors. But anyway, yes your curtains and drapes are all that and some, the drapes are absolutely the icing on the cake, love, love, love, love, love!!! Everything is beautiful. Xoxo

Are you going to do the ceiling yourself? I can't imagine how much work that is. ALso, do you have a separate family/TV room where you guys hang out? This room is always so beautifully decorated , but doesn't seem like a chill out space. Love the drapes and the new little lamp.
The stained archway is GORGEOUS! I would be so inspired by that I would want to strip all of the trim throughout the house. It would look so beautiful if you did that. It brings such warmth to your home. It looks like a brown cherry as opposed to a red cherry. All your hard work is worth it!

Bev, there is a primer that can be Applied before the stain that will make the stain take more evenly. I used it on my trim work when my home was being built. I can’t remember the name brand I used but any paint or good hardware store will know what you need. Sorry I can’t remember the name. Good luck
