The French speakers are minority in Egypt but there are French speakers in Egypt. Actually Egypt is a member of the International Organization of the Francophonie ( Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie ), look at on Wikipedia ;)

+Khaled Fadl You live in Egypt ok, but look at "French language in Egypt" on Internet, you'll see that Egypt used the French language as international language for centuries. Today, since 1950, the French speakers are minority in Egypt, but the French language keep a good position in your country because it is teaching as second foreign language in Egypt, and with the construction of French college etc Egypt want to teach the French language a lot, etc... It's why Egypt is considered Francophone by the international community. ( sorry if I made mistakes in English XD )

+Khaled Fadl Due to political reasons there are lots of Francophone countries where u can hardly find a French speaker! French is following the same footsteps of Latin! The fact that the GDP of China alone is four times more than all Francophone countries combined is enough to show how important this language remains ... learn French as a classical language. just be sure not to learn it for work and business
