He still performs this song at his concerts. I have been at his concert in Riga this year and when he sang this song I bursted into tears and the result was a wet! tissue and a distraughted me. As you I still can‘t explain what happened to me. Several times he triggered emotions in me I never had before, I even didn’t knew that they exist and I have no words for it to describe.

Dear French Girl The lady was a singer in China before WWII. She was Japanese. During the war she stayed and performed in China. They loved her. But after the war her true identity as a Japanese was discovered and they sent her back to Japan. She was rejected by all those that loved her in a China. And she never saw China again. I don’t know if you got the whole story. Thank you for your genuine spirit in your reactions.
She cried when she saw the signing of the Sino-Japanese diplomatic treaty in 1974. I imagine she was torn culturally, despite Japanese in ethnicity but raised in China. She calls Japan her motherland and China her fatherland. Really sad story.

Every time I see this performance, I am struck at just how remarkable it really is to do what Dimash does with this song. Not many people coud sing in a language not their own, and present a song to an audience made up of people. who are native to the history behind the song, and to the language in which it was wriitten......and have that audience react with such emotion and approval.
She was born in Japan. But moved to China before WW 2 She performed in China through the war. After the war her real identity and heritage was exposed and the Chinese people turned against her and the Chinese govt deported her back to Japan. She has never returned.

Bref, incroyable et immense émotion devant cette performance inoubliable 💯🎶 et veloutée d'Autumn Strong (qui lui permit de recevoir un award chinois). The journey continues... 👍 I recommend you react to his “I Am Singer” performances before you move to his more recent ones. Save “Ogni Pietra”, “Your Love”, “Passione”, etc for later. Try “Adagio”, “Opera 2”, “All By Myself”, Hello”, etc first. Not because the latter are better, but because I believe you will enjoy seeing his progression since 2017. I don't know if you watched but skipped showing part of the back story but it can't be copyrighted. The reason I say this is that I hope you will use Gloria's channel again for the back story for Daybreak. PLEASE show all of that back story so I know you saw all of it. It tells the story of the song and of the problem Dimash had the day of the performance. After you see that performance you can follow up with the performance at Bastau where he was healthy but please use Gloria's version first.
@@bethwolford3652 I asked her to watch the back story and video with subtitles for Daybreak like she did for this song from Gloria's channel so I could hopefully get her to do it before people talked her into only watching the performance from Bastau which doesn't tell the story and doesn't show his problem or his family or Han Hong talking to him on the phone. I might be a dumb blond woman like men keep accusing me of because I am a natural blond but I am smart enough to try to guide new reactors to watch at least the story from Gloria's channel.
I think it’s a bad idea to make a reaction to this song from Gloria Wu’s channel. The prehistory of the song is wonderful. But changing the key of the song is absolutely unacceptable! Dimash actually sounds completely different in this song. You should see the original recording from this performance.
