Dear Frenchtastic, Yes, if you don't fall in love with him, you have no heart. He is so so perfect! This is perhaps my favorite of his performances. He says that when he sings, he LIVES the song, he experiences those things. Have a conversation with him about what he wants to do for Kazakhstan and also for all the people in the world, to encourage them to love each other. Or else ask him about the day when he was in school, how his grandmother walked him to school very early in the morning when he was only 5, and how he loved school, and loved his grandmother (who is still alive) and how she went even though her legs hurt. French, if you want to see him at the heart of him, go to RU-vid "search" and put in "Dimash sings with parents." Then you will understand much about his sweet nature. And he walks over to some older people in the audience--those are some of his grandparents, including the one who walked him to school. Enjoy!

Dear Marie, That was one of his many surprises. He walked out on stage and stopped, then he looked back at the camera like he was saying to the competitors backstage WATCH THIS. Then he walked over to the piano & sat down. They had no idea until then he could even play an instrument & it was the first of 3 times he did play an instrument on the show. I watched the joy and anticipation you had all during this song & I am happy you enjoyed it so much.

Dimash is so mesmerizing, right? Guess if I'm a woman I will fall in love with him too hahaha. But jokes aside, Adagio is one cover where we can see he poured all his emotions and expressions in it. And like others have suggested, please listen to the original version by Lara Fabian. It's equally amazing.

When I first saw Dimash, when he was 6-8 years old at a competition for children, he was different from other singers. I came to his concerts a couple of times when he was in school or graduated from high school, I don’t remember exactly. You have no idea how it feels to listen to his live singing.

As of now all concerts have been rescheduled for the same dates in 2021. That’s March 2021. There are still a couple in Germany, one in Prague... can’t remember all of them, but yes, you can take the train to Germany easily. Wishing you success in meeting him! One of the most amazing things... I remember the first time I saw him at the airport... I will never forget.

P.S. He did a recent song called 'Your Love'. You will love him even more as it is a wonderful song (one of my favourite). He is wearing a red suit which looks great and is even better than the blue suit he wore in Adagio! It is written by Lara Fabian who is an absolutely amazing singer - one of the best in the world for sure. I am in love with her! She is from Belgium but moved to Montreal a few years ago. Can speak 5 languages and sing in 12 languages! Dimash loves her songs, really looks up to her and is inspired by her so much. He has covered several of her songs. Listen to Je Suis Malade, Je t'aime, You're not from here, Caruso and I will love again. You will be blown away and won't believe what you are listening to! Her songs that Dimash have covered are Adagio, Broken Vow and Love is like a dream. They are all amazing and would love to know what you think! From Michael in London

Hi. Great reaction - your best one yet and your English is improving for sure! (I listen to a lot of your reactions). I get the impression that you really love him and would really like to get to know him as a person - I don't blame you! There are all sorts of interviews/stories/videos on the internet about him when he was growing up and how is family got him in to music. They are both opera singers and taught him since he was about 3! He is extremely humble and helps a lot of young children. He recently did a beautiful song and video called 'We are one' and then did the same song together with kids who he has been teaching. Look up 'Dimash and children' and you will find it. I think Adagio may be my favorite, well, at least, it is the most passionate. He is giving EVERYTHING to his audience. For a very different style, voice, everything, you might try "Samal Tau". It's about the Kazackh young men who the Russians came and took for soldiers in their wars, and they cried out for their beloved homeland, a region of Kazakhstan named 'Samal Tau" which means something like Windy Mountains. Dimash is grieving for those young men and the families they left behind, to starve.
