In informal settlements, climate change effects disproportionally affect women in comparison to men. Cities Alliance is committed to creating more inclusive and resilient cities and communities to provide equally accessible spaces, opportunities and services for women and men. This video offers an introduction on the implications of gender in climate change adaptation and was produced as part of the gender mainstreaming activities provided to grantees selected under the 'Stronger Partnerships: Local Innovation for New Climate Realities' initiative.
