If you’re new to my channel, my name is Dr. Drew Timmermans, ND, RMSK. I’m the founder of Regenerative Performance in Gilbert, AZ, specializing in interventional orthobiologics, which is just a fancy way of saying we help people reclaim their life from chronic pain without steroids or surgery. We challenge the conventional pain management approaches by addressing the root causes of chronic pain.
How I got here…
22 yrs old: Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario.
23 yrs old: Competed as a long sprinter, anchoring the 4x400m relay to a silver medal at the Canadian national championships, contributing to Western's first national title in men's track and field.
23 yrs old: Started working as a personal trainer for GoodLife Fitness in Canada, quickly becoming one of the Top 10 Personal Trainers nationwide.
23 yrs old: Herniated two discs in my lower back, ending my track and field career and sending me into a multi-year battle with chronic pain.
24 yrs old: Enrolled at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (now Sonoran University of Health Sciences) after discovering my passion for naturopathic medicine.
26 yrs old: Still battling chronic back pain, I finally became pain-free through a platelet-rich plasma injection.
28 yrs old: Graduated and become a licensed naturopathic doctor.
29 yrs old: Completed the first-ever residency in regenerative medicine and integrative pain management at the Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Medicine.
29 yrs old: Co-founded Regenerative Performance to help people with chronic pain just as I had been helped.
Today: We help people who have chronic joint pain reclaim their life with cutting edge treatments like platelet rich plasma, and stem cell therapy.
To everyone battling chronic pain, remember that your story is still being written.
Never give up.

Have you had patients with over 10 years of trauma work who are managing their PTSD well for the most part but their nervous system cannot handle more stress so they have to lead super low stress lives so they can't work or go to school? How often would they have the blocks done? Would a block help to be able to load the nervous system with greater amounts of stress?

I’m like that. I’m sure he’s had patients like you bc it’s not uncommon. I’ve tried everything there is for my CPTSD anxiety, fear triggers, & nightmares. I’ve been severe for the last 20 years. It actually has made me very ill w/ ME/CFS. However, I used to be a research biologist, so I’ve been using my research skills to try to understand what was wrong with me (misdiagnosed/ undiagnosed), & actually came upon this therapy by sheer accident, after several years. I had a friend I suspected of having long Covid.. it was found that the SGB actually helped many of those patients. ME/CFS has many of the same symptoms. I got ME/CFS from decades of CPTSD. It overtaxed my sympathetic NS, & autoimmune system. As a result I wound up with several neuromuscular GI dismotility disorders, as well as Graves Disease. I could not make the physiological anxiety go away no matter what I tried. And it eventually made me ill, so much so I’ve lost everything and am mostly house/sofa bound. I explain all this to demonstrate there are many people like me, who’ve found great relief from the dual STB injections. That bring the case, I see no reason to think it wouldn’t help you as well as myself. It’s now thought there’s likely micro inflammation in the brain and spine, from CPTSD, which may actually be hindering your ability (& mine), to alleviate the anxiety, depression, etc. It appears as if the SGB alleviates that in some way, and suppresses the sympathetic response from your autonomic NS. Mine are scheduled for January at a center in central eastern New York State, north of Albany. My hope is that I’ll regain my ability to be calm, and hopefully we’ll enough to talk out loud, and walk around without passing out. Getting rid of the pain would be nice too. That’d be a bonus. I used to be an endurance hiker. Now, I’d just like to be able to walk around my yard to start, and be able to sit up several hours to paint.. and not get more I’ll bc I’m do research for several hours. That can also make me crash. The autonomic NS controls many functions of your body, not just the anxiety, & fight/flight/freeze reaction. This Dr who does these videos is very good. I encourage you to watch more, and also look for testimonials from patients who have anxiety & ptsd. There is every reason for you to feel hopeful about this. There’s good solid data, both anecdotal, & actual hard measurable data, to show this treatment to be very useful for a great deal of people. I wish you well🫶

Hope it’s okay to ask this question here. I was wanting to try oral bpc157 and heard you say that DNA Health was a reliable source for this peptide. Is their product pharmaceutical grade? Thanks so much, eager to try this.

Pharmaceutical grade only applies to injectable, not to oral supplements. Their product is the best on the market. If it helps you can use our discount code rp10 for 10% off - regenerativeperformance.com/supplements
