Best case scenario - easy grip maintained their gritty soft Moreau texture that we all loved (lol, i cant believe people used to complain about that texture and now look we are crying to have it back, oh life ❤️💕)
Medium case scenario - the texture changes but the new texture is not bad, it’s easily crushable and still a lovely soft /medium texture 😍💕
Worst case scenario - the texture changes but the new texture is HARD and painful to crush 😠
Yes, we all love the old EG texture and yes I wish they could have produced more of that texture but this is the reality of the chalk business. I wonder why it is but sometimes certain textures just disappear and new ones appear. OG Ader is gone, OG BSN is gone, and now OG EG is gone (sode note to cry about OG NCOB which is gone also) 😭😭😭 😢 it’s veeeery sad.
But I was so scared the chalk would be hard and uncrushable but thankfully that is not the case although I’ve seen others recieve firm blocks so perhaps there is an inconsistency in the batch. I will keep an eye out 👀
So far though if it maintains this soft / medium easily crushable texture then I’m happy because let me tell you, EASY GRIP is the cheapest chalk out there. It works out to about €1 per block (without shipping costs which isnt that bad within europe) a this is even cheaper than when I order from manufacturers directly with crazy shipping costs!
Kudos to the easy grip team for trying their best to source asmr chalk for us. I would advise them to be open to feedback and if the general consensus is that this asmr chalk is not soft then they can take that description off their website so that people do not mistakenly buy the chalk thinking its soft. But let’s give it sometime to understand what the general consensus is
