Then try to become those things. A lot of people putting forward what they want from a partner but not having the same expectations for themselves. If you become the type of person you'd want to be around you'll have a lot of success attracting other people. Be that from people you want to surround yourself with platonically or romantically.

yeah you learn weird things like women will test you. I had a girl one time tell me she didn't like me because of my style and I just said "that's fine, but I think I look good no matter what I wear" and didn't text anything else and 2 days later guess who came texting back? Old me would've got defensive and either started antagonizing her or trying to prove my worth and change her mind but I really do think I look good with my style so I just said it. After I went down the redpill rabbit hole (like you I avoided dorks like Fresh and Fit) I came out with a better sense of self and I think just a nicer person. I was definitly more secure and I didn't need it anymore so I stopped following it.
