tanyadev2012 - I still have it because my computer tech said i cannot turn it off till it gets through, or it could blow up my computer, now it's 20 years later and i am still waiting for the signal to connect. I got so used to the screeching sound that I rarely ever even notice it anymore.
This is so real. My uncle's family came over during winter break once, my parents moved my brother and I into the attic so they could use our room and my uncle/aunt could use theirs.
The kid and I can relate. When there’s people coming in our house to stay we have to go sleep in some smaller rooms......UHhhhhhh the struggles of being Asian.
Oh man!!, the dial up internet connections. I still remember them. When broadband first came, it was a massive relief that we finally get an internet connection without even having to interrupt the phone line.
It's almost miraculous in hindsight, that so many of us around the world put up with this inconvenience for years. No wonder internet cafes were such a big thing - parents at home were angry with their internet hungry kids hogging up the phone line for hours on end!
@0:56 Louis says, "Well, sometimes you have to spend money you don't have, to make it seem like you have money that you don't spend." He forgot to add: "To impress people that you don't like."
Too good connecting to telco 😂 I still remember that sound.

2:00 I love the way he pretends to work on a computer that is not even plugged in, see for yourselves. The back of the computer is missing the electric plug from the top section.LMAO
It just reminded me of my relatives who always compete against us on almost everything: children schooling, children salary and wives etc...just turns my stomach..
1:52 some people will never know the struggle. My parent and grandma hated it when we used the internet. Only one thing at a time; internet or house phone.
