I know you posted a year ago but please accept my deepest condolences on your wife's passing. May she always be remembered, and may she rest easy. I know how devastating a close loss is. I hope youre able to process this pain, although I know the heartbreak will never quite heal. Have a good life, mate.
I remember watching Freshly ground playing this song live at House on Fire in Swaziland in February 2006. I will never forget that experience. This song was played 3 times, still people wanted more of it.❤
Music is the only language that connects us, doesn’t matter your ethnicity, religion or race …love this and I am not even English speaker but this music made we write it .❤️
Reminds me back in 2005, this song played on Tsha Tsha series as Zolani's character was about to leave for Joburg to pursue a career in music. Then, during the Generations advert, while playing the montage of actors to enhance the intensity of the emotions. I even recall singing this and one of my childhood friends dismissed me from singing it, cause it didn't fit with what was popular back then. "I'd Like" gives me goosebumps every time I listen to that song. Who could ever forget the time the band won an MTV EMA for Best International Act and Puffy Daddy was cheering them on 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Omg, I have looked for this song for so many years, and I heard it on pop idols 2010 South Africa.. then it kept crossing my mind.. thanks to, how to ruin Christmas on Netflix I found it.. I am so happy. This song is timeless. A big fan from Kenya. 🇰🇪
I didn´t know this song until tonight when I saw Freshlyground on Open Ohr festival in mainz, germany. What a great band, what a great singer and what a really great song. One of the best musical moments I have ever had.
i love how so many people find songs like this through dubstep and then appreciate this song more than the dubstep version. it shows that those people actually have taste and understanding of music and if they can enjoy and love music like this and still listen to dubstep then that's enough proof to me that dubstep isn't just "noise" oh and if people like music like dubstep i ask you to listen to "white satin" both the dubstep version and "moody blues" original version.

This song takes me to 2008 in Cape Town after a long day after work ,watching the sunset with hopes of a better day tomorrow ( I was only 6 btw in 2008, that’s how special this tune is it takes me to a specific time and place I haven’t been to)
Every time I listen to this song it takes me back ,when my dad took us all to his work function on the 1st of May (family day )wow the group performed live while we kids played all the games and our parents watch the performance.continue to rest daddy.💔
Only i & my God knows what i went through searching for her.... was in junior college when i started watching her.... Didn't really know the meaning of what she sang then nor her name but her voice got me sold out..... Your VOICE is a masterpiece ma'am 🎉❤.
there is that feeling in a moment in time when there is only one person in the entire universe, since the beginning of time, who can fill the hunger we have at that moment. in that moment circumstance and man-made rules or personal inhibitions are only an inconvenience. we are as needy as an infant feeding in the night. if anything, we can be sure - to each one of us - need for another was given.
