hey guys! welcome or welcome back to my channel!
in this video i showed a couple of the different on-capmus dorms at Old Dominion University (ODU). i showed the double dorms at scotland (where i lived during my freshman year), whitehurst, and owens, and i also showed one of the single dorms in owens. the double dorms in scotland and owens have their own bathroom however the double dorms in whitehurst and the single dorms in owens have to share a bathroom with their neighbor.
scotland is a part of the quad and is pretty much in the middle of campus so it is super close to the dining hall, the webb center, and the student recreation center/SRC (the gym). this building is mostly freshmen but there are a few upperclassmen who live in here. every dorm in scotland has their own bathroom. there are also kitchens and study rooms on the alternating floors, and there is a laundry room on the 1st floor.
whitehurst is where a majority of the freshmen live. its right behind whitehurst beach (great sunset spot and there are outdoor volleyball nets to play on!). whitehurst also has laundry and study rooms on various floors.
owens is the newest dorm building on campus. its just on the outside of the quad, and it is even closer to than gym than scotland is. owens has tons of study rooms and nice places to work, and there is also a computer lab on the 1st floor. there are also alot of common areas and kitchens on each floor (that have tv's, stoves, ovens, etc.).
