I thought it was interesting Amanda’s mom was supportive of her going on a date: my mom didn’t want me to date in high school. In fact, she didn’t become cool with it until I was in my 30’s. (Then again, being homeschooled in my high school years, I didn’t have a lot of prospects, though there was someone at church I liked...and I am so glad it didn’t work out!)

This brings me back to my freshman years in high school 🏫. I didn’t even ask a senior to date me but a senior asked me despite being a freshman so me hiding it was useless because whoever I date senior or not, I would still date them. FYI, the senior didn’t date me nor did I care

The acting skills is truly amazing, I felt like I was watching a movie about High School I enjoyed every minute of it.

This is something that Degrassi would tackle on, but nvr rlly got around to it. Altho,, this is a great storytelling with a moral lesson to it. The actors did a great job playing their role and gave me goosebumps when Amanda got caught up in her lie. I can feel it deep down that when u lie,, u only end up harming urself and the other person. Lies always die,, but the truth is what lasts forever. I was definitely in this situation a lot when I lied about my age to many girls and only 1 of those girls were smart enough to catch-on and called me out on it. After that, I nvr done it again. Lying gets u in big trouble, while the truth makes u feel relieved and have a great reputation towards others including urself. 💯
