@@trucker_rob I was pushing a rig down the road before you were born. I was the youngest Owner Operator for Greenstein Trucking in 1983 at the age of 22. Over a million verified miles and then some. Cal- Inland, Holland Transport, Bellerud Transport, US Xpress, Interstate Distributors, Haney Transport Heavy Haul, Paclantic Distributors Corp - Owner 10 truck fleet Refrigerated. Not to mention Swinging Beef, Doubles, Lowboy, Ready mix trucks, Block Truck, Etc, etc. You were catching some flack in the comments as so many guys that drive a truck and post a video do, about how much they know about trucking. I was just trying to validate your feeling of getting a new truck. It's an excellent feeling especially when you start out driving complete shit. Something you wiper snappers never experienced. Don't Laugh out so Loud. Instead of poo pooing another company driver video. I tried to say something positive and righteous. Good luck with your new truck.
Well I have seen a lot worst trucks. They should ordered inside a little bit nicer for there good employees. You spend 95+% of your time onside of it. A happy employee is a good employee.
Starting orientation on the 23rd super excited currently in a 23 next gen t680 but it has bottom of the barrel options glad to see freymiller actually puts decent options in beyond the front curtains lol
No inverter for that microwave you mentioned. No curtains up front some company's just don't care. Good luck with your new truck. No subwoofer either. Happy for you ,just pointing out things that should be on that truck. Kenworth needs to do better. Small frig only good for maybe three or four days,I used alot of Tupperware to carry meals and removed the shelves. Just a thought.
Yeah I agree with everything you said. Our older 2017s and some 2018 trucks had subwoofer 🔊 under bunk, not anymore. Also yes there is a inverter underneath bunk it’s 1500 watts, enough for a microwave.
Kenworth builds what Frey Miller ordered. The customer decides what options on a large order; NOT Kenworth. The manufacturer would put anything you want on the truck within reason. Kenworth - The World's Best.
You just answered your own question. Yes we have long miles and short miles. They do relays / repower if needed and when trucks are in your area. It’s neither long or short miles anymore it’s about driving and adding up miles by Friday afternoon cutoff 4pm or 16:00 🕓
Que coisa bonita segura sofisticada presando a vida do Motorista parabéns…. Aí vemos os lixos de caminhões que roda aqui nesse fim de mundo chamado brazil e de chorar
It depends on a few things, some 2018’s trucks have forward cameras and depending on your safety performance safety may feel the need to put driver facing camera in your truck. But most of our fleet are just outward facing cameras. If you get a 2019 or newer truck no need to worry about it. Btw it shouldn’t be a problem getting a 2019 or newer truck.
@@Leonmiller407 honestly I don’t think anyone can come over and get a new truck right away. I’d say you’d probably have a older truck for 6 months than get something newer and after a year you’d probably get a new truck. Most of are trucks are 2019s - 2023s now.
You can adjust most of the dash to your liking. I don’t like the auto dimmer and bright blue and green lights at night. I’ll have a video of what I’m talking about posted by 5pm today so stay tuned.
Yes it is a diesel truck. EVs aren’t for long hauling across the country yet. EVs are just trial and error. I don’t personally think EVs are the future but a part of the future.
@@trucker_rob ok wht about fcev?it will be longer and charge time will be quicker soo and nikola will dominate they are building hydrogen and so no more diesel engines government want clean plant and nikola is the leader in the semi truck clean market no emissions sector.
