I don't mind risking a bit of panel damage, but the problem with Frickley is that it's an old china clay pit slag heap, and china clay is highly abrasive and ruins things like bearings and brake pads.
Would love to have come to the meet but as I’m only 18 and an apprentice it’s abit harder on the money side so I only have a standard d2 I would well be up for a camp out and some simple lanes but I can’t afford to replace my diffs from one weekend 😂

Talk to Rick At Nash Oak Wild Camping. He has a few trails in his woods, loads of camping and there are some nice lanes nearby, He has good knowledge on them or get on Wikiloc we stopped in Oct did loads from there.
Ume I didn't know about it has I was like everybody else life got in the way and b4 you know it a decade as passed I stoped laning in 2011 due to ill people plus no 1 wanted to go green laning any more cos they were terrified of being on the wrong lanes cos no 1 worked it out that 2 or 3 motors and its not worth the police turning up as the fine is £ 50 a per motor if they get it past cps which they won't cos you might be able to prove its a highway cos mostly they are no bridleways or footpaths actualy have a name ie there not called like wal na scar road are they ha ha ha I've driven that all gates were open when we got there Ian made me lead never been there b4
