Having been through college, idk what they were on about this arc with 5 classes being too much, that’s a normal amount of classes for a full time college student. Usually if you don’t take about 5 a semester, you won’t graduate in 4 years. If they wanted to show her overworking herself to a nearly impossible standard, they should have had her try to take over 18 units-at my college you had to fill out special paperwork saying you understood the risk of difficulty if you did that
Yea, 15-18 credit hours a semester was standard at my school too…roughly 5-6 classes. Heck, you had to take 12 credit hours to be considered “full time” (4 courses).
Depends on if they are all 4 unit classes, then yea that's a hell of a lot. And not all 4 units are created equal, some like advanced Math, Science, English, Econ, etc. are much harder than some other ones. If she means like 3 4 units and 2 1-2 units then that would actually be very standard.
@@Aiasmor yeah in my experience 4 unit classes are rarer, particularly if she’s an English/Journalism major. I majored on Creative Writing so I took English and Journalism classes and they were always 3 units. The occasional 4 unit class were for labs or something, not related to my major.
