What's the story behind Extra Life?

@hedgo king Not true, eggman himself never built Extra Life, it was Dr. Ovi Kintobor. Extra Life was a failed experiment of his while trying to make Sonic, well, an extra life, afew years after an incident that turned Kintobor into Robotnik/Eggman tails found Extra Life. He was fooled into believing it was the actual Sonic trapped in a monitor. And well, by now you should probably know what happened after he escaped.

I mean it just appear once in the whole comic

While that's true, instead of following Extra Life's actual design, they went with the actual Sonic look from the fleetway comics instead of giving him the details that made him stand out and be different from sonic, the single sharp pointy tooth, the messy hair, the more spiky ears, and even the single line eyes he has.

@@twt4lan I think the perfect design would've been a balance between the classic Richard Elson design, as well as the features that distinct him from normal Sonic (spiky spines, one tooth, etc)

they both can be considered as "fleetway", as they both come from fleetway comics. however, theyre two different things. [one, created by robotnik if sonic ever died (before he became evil), and the other from sonic being in a stressed situation and/or surrounded by chaos energy.] in conclusion, theyre both fleetway, but both different so they have nicknames so people dont confuse them for another. if i got any information wrong with text surrounded in "[ ]", let me know :)

@@Nikolatesla190 Fleetway as in the Comic Company responsible from Sonic the Comic. Their version of Super Sonic is what everyone calls "Fleetway Sonic". Extra-Life Sonic comes from the same comics as Super Sonic (though he's a much more minor character in comparison)
