Your voice and smile transmits the beauty of Judaism and the love of HaShem with such purity. May HaShem bless you and all Am Yisrael now and forever. Am Yisrael Chai!
Oh I just loved this. I agree wirh the other commentor...there is a beauty around you, and such a pleasant beautiful smile!! I live alone, a Christian. Im doing my best to honor the Sabbath. I love the Shabbat Shalom song!!! So musically perfect. ❤
It's been 2 years since I found this video and still I love watching and listening to it. Thank you so much for recording it. It continues to be such a blessing to my wife and I. Shabbat shalom sis!
Thank you for this video,my employer is a Jew and we do this every Friday and they also bless me,and pass me the wine and bread..god bless you..love from🇵🇭
Cantor Rozenfeld, thank you for expounding a difficult subject in such an easy and joyful way. This must be, what is called as " The Joy of Knowledge " ...
Cantor Rozenfeld, it is very special of you to have coffee instead of wine. You must be influenced by the precious teachings of Rav Moshe Feinstein. Anyway, your video is extraordinarily helpful for seekers of guidance. To Life ! ...
@@oguzhansamiloglu2187 so sorry I forgot to respond to this two years ago 😬. Are you still learning? Feel free to check out my other videos. Thanks so much for your comment
Cantor ROzenfeld do you happen to know who came up with the melody first? I hear it all over the world in all sorts of friday services. Thank you and G'd bless you
Dear Elena, Can you please add English phonetic subscription? Neither mysefelf or my children speak Hebrew n we struggle to simg our kiddush. We looooove your kiddush and want to learn it. Thank you so much!
Do you have any of the blessings for Shabbat or the holidays? I am in the process of converting and haven't formally started. My family wants to start Shabbat and the holidays on our own and I would love to play your videos while we are getting ready to learn Hebrew and ways to do things.
I quit Christian religion some years ago and trying to understand the Biblical Jewish Commanded Garments. Would you please tell me Are you wearing the Commanded hair covering? The Shawl you wear, is that the commanded prayer shawl? I really don’t understand what all I am supposed to wear for Sabbath and for everyday, I would greatly appreciate you if you could please tell me. Thank You! And they can be any color? I have hair past my waist because FATHER YAH YHVH wants me to grow it for HIM, do I need to hide it during The whole Sabbath time? I am not married. I have a Talitnia prayer shawl and I cover my hair during all prayers always. And I pray with tassels on a shirt. I lit HIM Frankincense.
Beautiful voice and wonderful manner. I'm not sure why you used a Starbuck's mug. I'm sure God doesn't care, but you are demonstrating to Jews and non-Jews who may be distracted from the meaning of Shabbos. (I still speak the old way) I did give a thumbs-up, as I'm sure God did, too!
Hi, thank you for the comment! The Starbucks mug was not intentional... Happened to be on my desk. But regardless, I find as a teacher, that people respond to humor. My goal is for ppl to watch the video, so they can learn. If a Starbucks mug will help me achieve that goal. Also, who says you can't do Kiddush with a Starbucks mug??? Thanks again!
Elana Rozenfeld Oh! Very good! Yes, I had a portable cup and folding candle holder I brought TO WORK when I worked midnights on the railroad. Several people were very interested in the ceremony. One guy and I had a running discussion about the Sabbath being on Saturday and that Christ was a Jew. I almost had him convinced… then he died. :(
Long story but I grew up in Christianity and let's just say I have learnt a ton of truth......I feel exactly like Abraham in Ur.......I feel as if I have lived every one of HaShem's curses in DEUTERONOMY. My parents were / are sickly their entire lives and I am 35 and I have been SICKLY my entire life. NOTHING has worked for my family.....NO SHALOM IN MY HOME.......ANGER, FRUSTRATION, SWEARING, ALCOHOL, HAS REIGNED IN MY FAMILY LIFE .......my family life is completely broken up ........my dad died in 2005, and my mom is almost 70 and getting frailer with every passing month. Constant poverty too.......I HAVE BEEN VERY INTUITIVE MY ENTIRE LIFE CONSTANTLY ASKING THE FATHER IN HEAVEN WHY?????? AM I LIKE THIS AND MY FAMILY!!!! Family celebrates pagan holidays Christmas etc......I HATE IT ......and eats unkosher......I have loads of food ALLERGIES so I eat kosher as much as I can........I HAVE DUG INTO TORAH TO FIND ANSWERS TO MY LIFE!!!!!!! MY LIFE HASN'T MOVED FORWARD IN 35 YEARS. I ACHE FOR HOLINESS IN MY LIFE AND HAVING HIS PRESENCE IN MY HOME !!!! NEED SHALOM TO HEAL !!! I LIVE PRAYER !!!!!!
@@highcallingofyahuah3112 My wife and I both grew up in Christian homes - hers Lutheran, mine Southern Baptist and very strict, church 3 to 5 times per week and two missionaries on my mother's side. We both began studying Judiasm starting in 1994 and eventually converted in 2000. We have found it very comforting and accepting, with the focus on humanity and this earth, with logical, rational rules and a simple basis, eloquently stated by a Rabbi thousands of years ago: that which you do not like, do not do to others; now, go and study, the rest is commentary. May you find peace in your learning, whichever path you chose.
One of my favorite aspects of Judaism is the encouragement to add one's own personal beautification to worship. Like singing instead of just saying a blessing in a boring monotone.
You hold up a Starbucks mug high, and you think it’s ok to teach people this? Why don’t you hold a kiddish cup? In the palm of your dominant hand, wrap the fingers around the base, held about 8inch over the table? I understand that different levels or traditions of Judaism may do things a bit differently. What your instructing though is purely false from a basic kiddush perspective. Please take this video down.
