It's too bad they didn't see that chat reacting to Vita and name dropping Liam. Which led to one salty Jojo hipster in the chat hating on the Zaibatsu and claiming they ruined Jojo by making it popular. HA! Truly his tears belong on Salty Bet.
Remember when they talked about Jojo for months on the podcast and then did that one video and got exposed as fake fans, and THEN actually started reading/watching it? Good times.

During the Vita fight someone in chat say Yo Liam is fdoing it when vita is winning You cant escape it liam you are born of the vita, made a man by the vita, undone by the vita
+Totally Not Lady Zozo That first match? That was Patchouli that achieved skill in magic along with daily usage of the shake weight. Always bet on Touhou.
D_Arby: [TBFP] ruined jojo D_Arby: They made it more mainstream and leeches hopped on to it. Yeah, it was entirely due to this one youtube channel and not the new anime coming out. Plus, Jojo was never really that obscure to begin with.
Considering Touhou fighting games are entirely based on spamming proyectiles and dodging them by shadow dashing, I find them a sure bet most of the time. EDIT: That said, the "best out of 9" system in the finals greatly benefits the SWR/UNL card system, since she got to keep all the skill power ups gathered through the matches. Even more so thanks to infinite cards.
Saltybet Five...the legacy of the tiny, chibi, B-tier catgirl who would conquer the monstrous boxer, the 3D gun-toting launching one-trick menace, and even the goddamn Batman
This has quickly become my favourite regular feature on this channel! I play along with the same starting money and always end up in last place relative to the SBFP crew, but laugh myself silly while doing it!
Dude, that song drop during the Alex fight was something to be there for... damn! Reminya was the actual Touhou in this Salty Bet; she is a derivative version of the original Remilia, of course, being chibi-neko. There's one thing about Touhou characters that hecklers don't give them credit for when you juxtapose her with her opponent... Touhous are clothed very humbly in dresses and pants canonically. Batman with the Shun Goku Satsu earns a Like. I forget to give videos those things.
maybe, I personally never found her interesting in any way, but other than that, I think she's one of the characters that stretches out the Bat-family too much. she should be part part of Batman Inc, not the main family imo
Ash97 She's not part of the "Bat-family" at all, she's a completely unrelated vigilante who was inspired by him. She doesn't use any of the Wayne money or Batman gear and she rarely ever even works with his team.
There was a touhou fighting game (2, actually). And the meters that Reminya had were from that game. Shooting or dashing uses up the hexagons, while the cards level up her specials.
Ya done good, Suezo, you got nothin' to be ashamed of. You can leave this saltybet with your head held high. Mostly because that's your only body part.
I couldn't take my eyes off the suited man to the left of the big red guy in the crowd, who just shimmied his shoulders and went: "Waagh waagh waagh!" the entire match.
Wallets out, salt shakers ready. It's time for another Friday Night Saltybet!!!! The only time I'm willing to wait another week for Touhou IAMP for Fisticuffs. Saltybet is just that HYPE!!!!!
HAHAHA YES! I was the one in the chat at 23:29 that called Vita, Liam. MoneyMSA. That's amazing, if only I knew they were watching. I think I actually referenced them again later in the tournament
Reminya's AI was what carried her character. She actually seemed to adapt against range/close in characters better than any other character and her relatively short sprite helped her against mid/high fighters. Her use of ranged attack spam was on point as well.
Unlimited card deck Touhou 12.3 characters are super strong when you're going more than 3 rounds. Persistent powerups and super powerful spellcards that originally cut out up to a quarter of your deck on use and are appropriately powerful.
Woolie (or whoever edits the videos) , I used to laugh at the state of the audio syncing on some of the videos, but after getting done with my first video, I gotta say... Editing's hard. Mad respect for editing every single one of these videos.
They should put a tweet out when they're recording saltybet so we can all ruin the chat with complaining about how GermanSpy is using saltygold to tell Woolie which fighter to bet on.
I'm salty as hell! I was rooting for McCoy ever since he made Practice Vegeta look like a chump! Damn If the finals weren't best of 5 McCoy would have taken it no questions asked!
finally, a new Friday Night Saltybet! [it's the one tournament i saw live that one day I checked out Saltybet] welp. [watches full hour anyway just to hear their dulcet tones]
Sailor Ranger well truth be told, i kind of cheated. i watched the whole of the first five episodes, figured out what was going on, and skipped to the end.
Always look forward to these, but for me the momentum just couldn't top Alex turning the tables on lolgeta, and having his theme song start playing by complete chance during it around the beginning.
The question is, which one? I think ULiL would be fun to see, just for how different it is. Hisoutensoku or IaMP are more traditional fighters with a bit more depth, though.
