I like the fact that the game look cute and silly but destroy your soul during play.

17:40 you can draw 5 on cannibals so you didn’t have to spend a life there. in general it is not good to go for cannibals early because it ages your deck fast right after you pruned it and it’s usually overkill until the red hazards. Better to wait until after you built up a good chain going and grab them when you are on red. Five draws is a lot of opportunity to build a big enough attack AND some health for the pirates. You could recover a bit with a below the deck which can effectively make your deck one card bigger. 26:16 because you exchanged a stop you can still draw 2 more frees. am optimal strategy was to pay one to draw one in order to force a shuffle and then use the exchange which puts the stop in the discard pile. 37:20 last aging card is the last runthrough that’s why it’s important to balance which cards you take when. 41:10 you were 2 points short not 1 because you can’t double a double. Earlier you should have kept your +2 life, it extends your chain massively and has great synergy with copy, also keeping that chain going you could have spent 2 to draw a 4 weapon and a destroy which would have saved you 4 life there and gotten rid of the suicidal earlier. p.s. you play very well, it’s obvious you play the game. a lot of people can learn from watching this play through.

Thanks for doing this video. I just got the game. I've never played a deck building game before. The instructions it comes with are kind of bewildering.

The rulebook states you can't double the fighting points of a card that's already been doubled which you did around 40:10

I absolutely love this game. It's one of my favorite solitaire games that I've had access to (Onirim being the other great one) and a great game to play while watching a movie or something.

25:54 you could have paid 1life reshuffle. The deck draw 1 card and only then exchange. Thus you dodge 1aging card for a whole deck

I’d play it as two players game sometimes. We just take turn on each decision. Sometimes, one of us want Robinson to lose and yet win. Go figure.

I just got this game last week. I've done a couple playthroughs and definitely lost all of them, but it was quite fun!

26:04 The rules state you can't use a card's ability on the card itself. It must be another card. Ergo, you cannot use an exchange ability on the exchange card that activated that ability.

I’ve never heard of anyone winning this game. Closest I’ve ever gotten was two hazards away from pirates. 😅

I love this game (I already mentioned it several months ago), and I was driving today, wondering why there are no more games like this. It's the only Solo deck builder that I can think of that has this much game in such a tiny box. I know there are other solo-able deck builders, but with this few cards, it's hard to get more game than this one has.

Can you use 2 "double" abilities targeting the same card? When playing on the app, I don't think it's allowed

I just wish it were possible to win this game. I never have and at some point it just gets too discouraging to try again.

If you are out of aging cards, nothing happens. Youre lucky and do not add any more aging cards.

This is a great solo game! its so easy to play a quick round or two after a day of brain melting work!

Great video, thank you!! I finally won this game after many many tries! Fun game but it can be frustrating. I played wrong so many times. Make sure when you lose remove the bad cards from game if you had to pay. Seems obvious now but it was my first deck builder of sorts and it took a bit and several other deck builders to click. It’s still difficult but fun. Good luck!

Others have already pointed out where your burned without paying, and paid when you didn't need to. (Good to see proof that you're a fellow Human.;) I note I completely missed (on page 6 of the rules) "At the beginning of a new phase shuffle the hazard discard pile and continue again with action 1." I do dislike one thing about this game: how imbalanced the Pirate cards are. If you'll win or lose can sometimes be decided during setup if you just have really poor luck with the Pirates.

I’m trying to learn this game and can’t figure out why you keep some of the fighting cards after losing against a hazard when the rules say you must place the remaining face up fighting cards back on the Robinson discard pile. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I feel so lost 😞

I just purchased the app, and am wondering... how do I activate the special abilities on the bottom of the cards... exchange etc... The app rules dont say anything. Please help. Thanks

Loved this playthrough - I think I might buy it. However, I looked through the rules book and I think in the final Pirates battle you used the double ability incorrectly. The rules say you can only ever double one fight card once, the second double ability would have to be used on another fight card - probably a 3 attack one, making your total 33 not 34. Wouldn't change anything but maybe worth keeping an annotation for.
