I'm going to be honest. I'd work for you no questions asked. It's not just about the concrete and such, but it's the work ethic of the guys with you, the ability to learn and expand into my own and you'd be there to help and support me. I've never had a boss that would ever be like that. They're only concerned about themselves and getting the money themselves. You live and work by your faith and that is rare these days. I love your content and I hope that the concrete shortage ends soon, and you get lots of work so you and your guys can continue to live and have fun outside of work.
My step son takes my phone when we are driving and goes “concrete’s ordered” and throws my phone on the dash like you hahaha he loves your channel and so do I. I love that we share this together. Thank you Ryan 👍🏻👍🏻
And show up 9 mins late on purpose, and eat lunch as soon as he gets to the site, but he has to stop at the gas station in between the yard and the site 😂😂😂
Thank you for taking the time to film and let us in on your world a little bit. You seem like an amazing person in general let alone a boss. Thanks for keeping cussing out of the videos also. God bless you and your family and your business.
I’m shocked by how open you are to your guys doing side jobs and even helping them be able to do them. I would love to hear how you decided to be the kind of employer/leader that you are.
I think it's because it helps him (people still call him first) and it helps the customer get a quality job. As a bonus, he's helping Eric that has a new baby on the way. He's going to need the extra $$. it seems like there's enough work for everyone so it's not eating into his business either.
I’m pretty sure too, that Ryan has so much other work (quotes, paperwork, that kind of stuff) that he has to do in the afternoons, that Eric doing side jobs doesn’t cut into his business. And there isn’t much time for Ryan to take on more actual jobs. Edit: spelling
He's openly said he his minimum charge is 5k. If someone wants a shed slab or a set of steps it's not worth his time so he passes the smaller jobs to Eric. Plus some of the heavier machinery isn't given to Eric to use for free, it's rented to him for a fee.
@@guillermo7189 Even as an inside associate, I'd always jump outside when they would make the PA announcement, "We need associates to help bring in carts." It'd get me out of the store for a few minutes to enjoy some sun and fresh air. No one asking where something is or where the bathrooms are. Plus, those guys have a tough time so I always wanted to help out the Lot Associates. Turn over is sky high.
Been watching you for a while love the videos! Me and my pops own our own company and just started finishing concrete for past few years and your videos have taught us a lot and love the environment you have with your employees!! Keep up the good work man
Always impressed by the quality of work you guys do. Also, I am amazed at your daily time management in getting the project completed and having a little fun in the process.
I work in a corporate job from home. The office environment is such that you cannot joke like you all do. I watch your videos specifically for that camaraderie that is missing in my life because I don’t work manual labor like I did in my youth. Good job guys
Hey Ryan, a cool way to explain how control joints work is to tell people to think of it as a KitKat or Hershey bar. How they are slightly cut in grooves and they usually always break down the control joints.
If i was 30 Years Younger i would Love to Work with Victory. Ryan is a Boss Everyone Should have. A Real Man & Father & Boss.. Respects his Employees / Great Father / Mentor to Everyone. Ryan's are Extremely Rare these Days. I Did General Construction / Floor Covering for 25 Years Learned from The Best. Also Did Air Conditioning / Heating with My Dad and his Company after High School. i Miss Floor Covering / Construction / hvac.. Great Job Ryan & Victory. Your Videos taught me A'lot about General Construction / Concrete Work it's Very Interesting Keep The Progress Moving Getting Educated on your Business / how to Do Concrete Work is always a Good Index Card to File.. Have a Great Weekend with your Family Ryan..
Don’t be lazy is right! I have a friend I refuse to take shopping anymore because he will not put his shopping cart in a corral when he’s done. One of those “it’s not my job” kinda person…
Good morning happy Friday I’m finally going to get my concrete done just waiting on the contractor to decide I’m praying for you all and your company Easy money 💰 😜👋👋
Hey Ryan Facebook is in its own universe, are you guys still using Facebook over there? here in EU we dont use it anymore like before. heads up you are a man that stand for his words! i Respect you how you threat your team and i love how you interact with your family! thumbs up! greetings from switzerland
It's funny that you mention how the Facebook comments are brutal. I went onto your Facebook yesterday just to see if the content was different and man, some of those folks are cruel! I am glad to hear you don't take it too seriously or to heart. They clearly do not watch the videos on your YT channel, or they'd know the exceptional human you are, Ryan to both your crew and your family and friends. Continued blessings, guys! Heather🇨🇦
Hey Ryan your not mean you are the real deal! Your crew and your family are blessed with great leadership and understanding. The experience combined with your attitude for professional progress is second to none. Victory style is the real deal!
Ryan you are so easy on your men the only people that say those things on Facebook are people that aren't in the construction industry I'm a bricklayer for 30 years and I wish I had you as a boss
Great video, great team and you Sir are a great leader. Put all the non-sense comments to the side. All good things happen on the positive side of life. Keep doing what your doing. Thanks for the great entertainment!!
You’re a good Boss Ryan. Don’t let social media drag you down. I gave social media up almost 6 years ago. Life goes on and I have less stress in my life… usually…. 👍🏻😎
One bit of advice if I may, Ryan? If you install a downspout grate on those you buried lines you'll make people significantly more happy as they'll be able to clean the pipes out much easier and they won't be cursing the setup when they need to clean it all out, especially late fall with all the leaves, haha!
Do you have some examples? I put a patio cover on my house, and then tied the cover's gutter into the drains that go to the front. When I look at HD and Lowes, I don't really see anything I can put between them. I was thinking something that's 4" in insets into the 4" pipe where gravity brings it from the downspout and into the downtube (which ties to the main drain line). However, everything looks to be "surface" where it seems a fair/large amount of water could deflect out. IDK, maybe an atrium cover inverted would do what I want??
I’m a roofer from Minnesota and I watch your videos everyday! Thinking about starting my own channel and you motivating me! much love and support from MN 💪🏽🙏🏽
It's comical and also just shows how much trimming a clip can completely change the demeanor or the context for how something is said. I'd love to see what some of those Facebook videos look like and watch them next to the FULL form clip. Keep it up Ryan and try to stop bullying your employees, you awful boss you! 😄
Amazing work as always. I do like how the retaining wall came out and how you gave the homeowner some space for gravel so he won't drive on retaining caps. Shout out to you and your team 🙌 👏 🔥🔥🔥
Ryan the only reason I watch your videos because you are an awesome boss, you know your trade and the work done by your company is undeniably the best. Nothing gets passed you by your guys and you settle for nothing but the best. Im a mason by trade, you and by boss could be brothers the way y’all’s work ethic is. Side note my grandpa had a saying “ hate turns to love” so let the haters hate. Keep up the good work!
Haha so I went to your Facebook page and had to laugh as everyone commenting don’t even live in Wisconsin. I don’t even understand how people can comment on your work ethic aside from the service you provide when they have never hired you for their concrete work. Keep up the good work my sons and I enjoy watching all your videos!!!
The cart rack is the ultimate form of self governance, if you put your cart back you are probably also a self starter and possibly also really responsible as far as how you carry yourself, not always the case but a good portion from what I see.
That is a great job, done by your proffesional team. The ''Dirt Monkeys'' would be very jealous of your speedy retaining wall build! Just found this channel after watching the VIP pour with Stan 'Dirt Monkey' Genadek. Your channel has become very addictive! Daryl's new logo for his hats should be ''Better late than never" LOL!
Good morning From Sweet Home Alabama! Today is the 1st time I watched you work on my computer instead of my Android phone! 24" Samsung Curve Monitor and Bose Computer Speakers! What a difference! Come to Cropwell Alabama and pour my Driveway! I know your last Alabama experience wasn't good. I live about 45 minutes from Guntersville, on Lake Logan Martin! Bring your Fishing boat! 3 extra bedrooms! I am the retired Navy Master Chief that sent you the challenge coins! You are welcome anytime.
Great job fellas. I’ve been thinking about u guys all day wondering how things went since Ryan’s announcement about the shortage. I really hope the company gets what they need over the weekend so y’all can pour on Monday & finish the season strong.
This channel is gold😂😂 and you seem to be a great boss to work with, I’m not in the trades But this channel makes me want to do concrete!! And it’s hilarious, f the haters, you guys work hard and do great work
I know you don't care about the haters on Facebook and I don't either!! You are a good man Ryan. I see it in your work your leadership. You guys remind me of me and the guys I work with. Being a boss is not EASY lol sometimes there gonna be them moments of frustration whether its the job or its the crew. Part of the job. Keep up the great work guys!! Oh its funny I seen 2 concrete trucks go by me yesterday and I had to say CONCRETES ORDERED!!
forget those folks on Facebook you're a good dude a awesome boss and a successful business owner you get in there with your guys and bust tail and still have time to make work fun keep up the good work fellas been watching from the start all the way down in Arkansas
Jade shows up even when she's not feeling good? That's a dedicated one right there. She always puts a smile on my face when I see her run up to you in the morning.. even when I heard she wasn't feeling good I felt bad for her but seeing her in the distance still made me smile.. she's good for doing that.. and I know you don't worry about the Facebook comments, just a bunch of haters on there that have nothing better else to do.. but hey what do you expect from a second hand company? They don't care how it makes you look, as long as they get the views and money they could careless
@@JuanCarlosLopez-tj4hh I don’t put up with racist jokes because it starts small and continues to grow until it gets to the point of constantly belittling someone for their race. Seems innocent and funny, until it’s not.
The people crying and complaining on Facebook have never worked on a job site or a legit construction company lol I’ve been with bosses/co-workers way worse than you, people are just used to not getting critiqued or criticized for their own good. They don’t understand your reputation is on the line and you set a high standard for the quality of your work. Construction isn’t for everyone and typically it’s not for the faint of heart depending who you work for or with. You’re always respectful and you’re a great teacher and you always have a positive fun work environment. Let the babies on Facebook keep whining and feeding you views, just pay them no mind because they don’t have a clue 😂 love the vids 👍🏼
It funny cause I was one of those comments until I watched more of you’re videos and your opposite from what those people are saying you a chill and humble boss.
