I would love for you to show more close up details with explanation on how you do your seam bindings, please. I am concerned about putting woven using woven binding on knit garments. I am interested to know the steps in applying it so that it looks neat an l on the outside. You always achieve such nice-looking makes, and I like how you explain things.

Just doing it at the back of the neckband leaves with stretch at the front to still fit over your head and it gives a lovely finish! Hope it helps, if not please let me know!! Thanks for watching!

That blouse is so elegant with its sleeve frills and the colour is gorgeous on you. I adore the sweater with those pockets. However when I saw that neckline, I almost had PTSD from my recent experience 😂. It does look a slightly different construction and yours has come out so well especially considering it was a larger neck band. So glad you've had a successful sewing week, you deserved that. I really like the idea of woven t shirts and sweatshirts, I may give that a go for summer rather than jersey all the time. Thanks so much for always entertaining us with fabulous content ❤.

I love that Misusu top and that minty colour looks great on you. I think I will have to look at that pattern myself! I am having a mad phase of making blouses from Indian block print fabrics. Just finishing off the Cousette Yvette blouse which I love but the cuff and neck bindings are very fiddly!

Nooo! I only saw this when I got back! So sorry! Inspiration behind learning to sew this time was having to make curtains when we bought this house!! They got made 7 years later 😂😂 and I think we know the most used pattern 😜😜

Hi jenny! Strange it doesn’t tell you how much you need unless you buy the pattern! I used about 1.2m for the main fabric and maybe .8m for the ribbing. It’s not very fabric hungry which is great

For top stitching, sometimes I use a twin needle, sometimes I use maraflex thread with a straight stitch as it has some stretch but most of the time, and in this case, I just used regular thread but lengthened my stitch length as this doesn’t necessarily need to stretch and it came out really well. Personally I don’t like the look of a zig zag stitch! Hope that helps!
