Thank you for making this. My refrigerator knocked loudly the other night when I got out of bed for a glass of water. That scared the crap out of me! 😂 Got my heart pumping, that's for sure!

I just bought a mini fridge and it sometimes once in like a hour makes the loud Crack and Bang and I’m like 👀 but thank youuu

My fridge sounds like it's crackling it's knuckles when the cooling system starts up, almost like it's making ice cubes... only there's no ice maker

Yes I was here for the crack and bang! Mine was more like a popping sound.. like a mini pop.. I was finding it very weird.. glad to know it is normal. I have observed this for 6 months but other than that nothing is wrong inside my fridge.

My 6 year old Liebherr fridge-freezer hums like a low flying WW2 bomber, followed by an abrupt and total silence (much to my relief).

Bro my fridge makes a gurgling/bubbling sound almost like when you make fried chicken and that sound doesn’t even come from the water defrosting and dripping into the pan. It’s straight up from the compressor and it is super loud

Hi, I have the FFA70 hotpoint Fridge/Freezer. The warning light for Freezer High temperature has came on! The freezer is still working, but I did notice the top shelf in freezer, was not keep the foods frozen. I checked the fan behind, it works. There is not a lot of ice over the pipe work, which would suggest to me the element and sensor are working. So it’s defrosting. What do you think is going on ?

Mine sometimes sounds like a frog and other times like a wailing ghost. I doubt that's normal. I booked a repair team to come have a look at it. These noises started after it has been repaired for a new thermal fuse.

I've moved in this place and it's been 3 weeks...daily at different times we hear straight up growling. It sounds like a sasquatch was shot in the stomach and dying. The first weekend I called the leasing office and asked if the guy next door has some kind of chronic pain because I almost called 911 this k he was injured.

This is a design flaw in modern fridge freezers in my opinion! Our Hotpoint fridge freezer makes a ridiculous amount of "norma"l noise for an item constantly in use in a general living space. Older fridges I remember never did this!

Question, if you're still checking: Re: "Give the compressor a few months to settle in" - why is that? I thought the gurgling/whooshing sound is just the refrigerant equalizing through the tubes when it first comes on. Should that sound really last more than a few seconds? What makes it so the first few months make the compressor louder?

All these noises are nothing compared to my fridge noise. I hear a noise like if someone was trowing ice cubes on the wall for 1-2 hours every 3 hours. I really don't know what's going on.

My fridge/freezer has a very full intermittent beep. It doesn’t go away as soon as the power is switched off but does disappear when the super cool button is pressed. Immediately comes back when super is deactivated. Nothing is blocking airways and seals seem intact

Mines makes a “someone’s shoveling dirt behind the fridge sound” .. I’m guessing it’s has to do with the ice maker or I have rodents living next door.

Hi, I have a Hotpoint Ariston refrigerator bought in 2016 (I think) and for a few days and a few days ago it started making two very strange noises in particular and that prompted me to turn off the fridge out of fear. the first noise is like the "crack bangs" you showed at the minute 1:31 and the thing that worried me is that you said it makes that noise when the ice comes off, but the refrigerator, it doesn't make ice. and second love is hard to explain. it's a vibration that comes slowly then quickly becomes quite strong and to make it stop you have to turn off the refrigerator, then turn it back on again and that noise stops on its own after a few seconds but it's very strange because it's not among the noises you showed, please give me an answer because I'm very worried and worried that it's not normal. Please give me an answer because I would like to understand if this is normal

My hotpoint fridge makes so much noise and so frequently I can hear it in the next room. I have a video of the worst loud noises it makes... is there someone I can send it to to assess why it's so noisy? I live in a small flat and now working from home in lockdown is making it unbearable.

A bit dissapointed by this video but found what my problem was from other youtube videos. The noise mine was making was like a grandfather/mother clock occasionally.

Our four month old fridge is making a plane flying-like sound. Also, it stopped cooling.

My fridge makes farting sounds. Legit farting sounds, like someone with a REALLY upset stomach sitting on the toilet. It does it just randomly throughout the day. Sometimes for minutes straight, sometimes just a few farts here and there.

Clean the shaft of the motor. Mine had hair around it. Fixed it. Also swapped the grommets from back to front (no difference). Oiling didn't help.

Hi my hotpoibt fridge id 4 years old but most if these years i was traviling sometines i keep it on .. si dye to korona govd 19 had left ny flat fir almost 1 year the fridge was on .. now am stay in my flat since August and the compressor hammering noise is too high its written 48 dp i think this is too high for human ear .. so i think this noise is built in in this type of fridge .and this is worries me if i call the service center they ll charge me for changing fan or compressor and the result will be the same . Please advice

In one hour my fridge makes around 10 to 15 times gurgling sound...like once its silent and then compressor starts(with vibrating sounds) and after some times compressor sound stops with a thunder type gurgling sound.
