Fried Bologna Sandwiches on the Blackstone Griddle
Today we are bringing it back down south and making it simple with some Fried Bologna Sandwiches on the Blackstone griddle. Sometimes it is just hard to beat a simple sandwich on the Blackstone and that's what we did here, a simple but so delicious fried bologna with cheese sandwich. The fried bologna sandwich, perhaps the most underrated sandwich of all time. Many would call it the “OG”. For me, only 4 ingredients needed: bread, bologna, cheese, & mustard. That is my favorite bologna sandwich.

I'm crazy about Boar's Head beef bologna and I team it with salami, bacon, and cheese on whatever bread or roll that hits my mood. I try to get beef salami but it hasn't been easy to find since the scamdemic.👍

I make those frequently. However, I'm a mustard guy. Instead of cutting the edges, as I used to do, I now use an apple corer and cut about a 3/4" hole in the middle. They lie perfectly flat. Both ways work. I usually buy the thick-cut package, but when I get serious about it, I go to the deli counter and have them slice some 3/8-1/2". Good looking sandwiches, Pop.

@@TheCrazyPop I'm not a bologna fan. I bought some last year as a treat for my dogs. But after touching a slice, I threw the packet away because it was so gross. Course it was the Oscar Meyer stuff, I'm never seen a deli version of it. Guess it's a southern thing. Either way, I enjoyed the video and I'm glad you enjoyed the bologna.
