Thanks, Bruce. Appreciate your visit and the compliments. I am learning and planning to do another video, redoing some of what I have missed. Have a wonderful day.
I bought the minced crab (accidentally) and i love this recipe! it's nice that there are no measurements or ingredients- I can get by with my "flavors of asia" and love that it may come out a little different each time. thanks!
What are the other ingredients you are using please... I see liquid seasoning, siracha, black pepper & minced crab in spices... What are the portions of ingredients to be used please? Thanks for the upload, looks delicious & can't find other recipes using minced crab in spices!
Thanks for stopping by, and I appreciate your comment. The Por Kwan brand Minced Crab in Spices comes packed with flavors; you don't need to add anything else if you're cooking a small amount of rice and vegetables. Since I cook quite a bit of rice, here are the additional ingredients I used: Three crab fish sauce, organic sugar, and black peppers. I used sesame oil in the beginning to fry the garlic, but vegetable oil would be fine. I had to rewatch the video. Please let me know if you have any questions. Regards, Lee
I might even try a bit when I make kimchi I'll put some on the bottom before I can it to ferment. Or will the oil knock out the natural fermentation?? Humm . Mabey I'll even put in jerky squid too.
I’m not sure about putting it in kimchi. You mentioned about the oil, so I couldn’t tell you my friend. But as for put it in jerky squid, that’s sounds good!
Hi Chandler, thanks for your visit and I appreciate your critique. It's one of my earlier videos and I’m still learning. I appreciate the opportunity to correct what I missed. Below is the information for this cooking video. Ingredients: A can of minced crab meat, 4-5 cloves of garlic, 1 small (1 lb) bag of mixed vegetables (carrot, corn, and peas), 2 tbs of sesame oil, 2 eggs, 2 tbs vegetable oil. Cooking Instruction: Heat the pan with sesame oil, put in chopped garlic, fry to a golden brown, add vegetables, and steamed rice. Stir and add 1 tbs soy sauce, 1 tbs sugar, a dash of black peppers, 1 tsp fish sauce. Keep stirring gently for a couple of minutes. Once the fried rice is done, set it aside. Heat a clean pan, add the vegetable oil, crack 2 eggs and cook it scramble style. Set it aside with the fried rice. Heat a clean pan, cook the minced crab on medium-high heat. When it starts to bubble, add the fried rice and scrambled eggs. Stir the fried rice and minced crab meat. Keep tossing for 4-5 minutes, taste your cooking, and plate it. Thanks! Lee
