If I told you all it was 3% of scientists saying that climate change is real and humans are driving it you'd all be like hang on what about the 97% who say it's not happening. You're taking carbon that's been sequestered from the air over 100's of millions of yrs and buried in deposits under ground and liberate it over the course of a few decades and the attitude is nah the planet will be able to handle that without so much as a hiccup. Why not do the sensible thing and regard climate change mitigation as an insurance policy?
