So far what I noticed about huntsman spiders is that They only run fast if they see you as a threat They are generally docile and don't attack humans unless necessary They aren't venomous If you poke the spider gently with your finger it will flinch but after it doesn't see you as a threat You can collect it in a container and escort it out the house
Scary but harmless. Dime a dozen round here.I kinda like them, but not in my house (they come in on the wood) so it's catch and release, glass and card. Works a treat every time with no harm to either man or insect. You are fearless to pat that one.
I’m so tired of having arachnophobia. I love insects including spiders and I can hold all except spiders. I hate it. It’s just that running I’ve got to get over. As soon as I get over that fast movement, I’ll be good.
I'm terrified of most bugs but I'd rather have that thing than the majority of house pests. Spiders are acceptable. Ants, roaches, and beetles however are a hell no. At least the spiders keep the other things out and usually stay away from humans!
