You wanted a better Friendly's. We listened. New menu, brighter restaurants, warmer welcomes, a friendlier experience. Every time. Come back and see us!
I went into a Friendly's sad and alone thinking it was a sure-fire way to get a free meal. I couldn't have been more wrong. I still somehow went away with great family memories.
We used to have a Friendlys in our area but that closed 8 years ago. I knew a few of the girls that used to work there. They said it was a hard place to work. One person felt like they were doing the job of 3 people. They never got any notice that they were closing. They showed up for work that Monday morning only to find the place being packed up and closed. One of the girls that used to work there said the servers and cooks had to do their own dishes. I'm not sure if it was like that at all Friendly's locations. Friendlys was also notorious for really long wait times to be seated, get your drinks, food, etc.
