Yes sir! That’s how you play with the MC-303. You show that ‘old’ machines can do the job too. It’s the person behind the knobs who can get the most out of it. And your tattoo = ❤️
Thanks a lot ! 🙏 Yes 😄 I love the "One pattern" concept, very useful for live performance 😉 here i also use the rps section to add few sounds in breaks/drops etc..
Excellent!! Fair play to you buddy. Another example of how good the 303 can sound in the right hands!! Really enjoyed this mate. Very well done!! Its inspired me to get mine back out again. Thanks for sharing : )
@@krostifmusic I have both plus the D2. But the 303 is my favorite. The 307, like the drums and some Pads but I don´t like the work flow at all. You have to save it all the time the patch settings, even the filter setting one by one. The 303 you just save the Pattern and all the patches settings are saved. 307 is good on creating/editing your own sounds/patchs with "infinity" possibilities.
God, I remember you.. You were asking for a tutorial with someone else and I forgot to tag you !!! Shame on me, sorry for that 🙏🙏 Here's the link, hope this can be helpful.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KIrLKrgV6ZQ.html Nothing about midi section as I'm not a good user of it, sorry.. And thanks for the words about this jam, glad you liked it !! 🙏
@@krostifmusic No worries man, nothing but love. I have moved away from the MC-303 these days, as I like the simplicity of the Teenage Engineering PO-33 a little bit better. Though your songs (and link) keep pulling me back in. Maybe, just maybe, I need to combine the two in the not too far future. :)
@@LeslieJones_RSTRCTD great idea, will allows you more possibilities for your drum section.. Never used these little babies, but youtube just told me they can be synced or used with almost anything 😉
@@krostifmusic As long as you have a MIDI clock pulse, they will be up for a lot. (Especially other pocket operators.) I jumped at the opportunity to get it, and boy did it drag me back to creating beats again, something that opening a DAW on mac or PC could not help me with these last few months.
Thanks for the great compliment !🙏 I still have a record of Jam & Spoon I love to listen sometimes, and also the original of Age of Love, two good memories 😊
When I’m playing this instrument i have feel it is forged to have some techno bit in all tracks. I always finish with kinda techno sphere. Except reggae maybe))). Dreamed whole life about this machine. Exited to have this instrument in my room for enjoying its sound. Playing around my patterns in way different ways. It is very autonomous device if you know how to drive it. Thanks for inspiration mate)
Lol
Man, what a treat for Saturday evening. I wonder, how long does it take for you to prepare a track like this on the mc 303. I used it 2 years ago, and it is somewhat painful to program things on it.
Thank you ! 🙏 I agree, this box is the hardest to program for me too. I often need a few hours to program and balance all the sounds. It also depends of the inspiration :) Once the pattern is done, I play with it several times to build the track, it can takes few days, not playing with it everyday necessarilly.. Then suddenly i feel ready and say ' "go !" 😄
now im curious ..got one in 96 ..dam it was a process i recall..but magic in a box for those that dug into mabye the first groove box...curious to connect it with a keystep pro..i got another 303 on ebay for 125..mint condition.wow 96..lol
I hope you will enjoy it :) I made a little tutorial recently, maybe it could help you.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KIrLKrgV6ZQ.html
